4 out of 5 eggsWorks well.

Pros: Consistent speeds, works well, definitely getting "AC mode wifi".

Cons: Bulky, no updated driver in sight.

Other Thoughts: The driver has never been updated. There are no details on the chipset it uses, anywhere. Works in 7 and 8.x.

It does not currently work with Windows 10. You can install it, it just won't work.

Update: 2/18/2016 - The device now works fine under Windows 10. You do still have to use the driver from Tenda's website because Windows won't automatically find any.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Pretty Well

Pros: Fair Price, Works With W7 and Vista, Decent Speeds, Pretty Lights When Sending/Receiving.

Cons: None For Me So Far

Other Thoughts: My internet provider recently bumped my speeds to 200 down and 20 up. I needed an inexpensive wireless adapter that could do 5ghz band to get better use of these speeds. Installed this adapter Usb 2.0 port of a computer running Vista 32 bit home premium, then ran installation CD. Chose Driver Only install. Had to tell Vista UAC to install despite driver not being certified by Microsoft. Rebooted as prompted. When computer got back to desktop the adapter was ready to show local wireless connections. Using my standard wireless with N connection got speeds up to 50/21. Then connected to my 5ghz signal and got speeds as high as 190/23. This with router being 2 rooms away in old house with thick walls. I am very Satisfied with this product so far. For comparison, my hardwired speeds are 235/23.

Also used with a W7 64 bit computer with similar results.
