5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine,

Pros: Worked fine. Has lights. Doesn't get hot.

Cons: Nobody likes wall warts. At least this is a sort-of compact "sideways" one.

Other Thoughts: Used for entertainment center, all ports in use, mix of 100Mb/1000Mb equipment. Only gets slightly warm, I suppose that means the power saving features are working!

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: Well built, not all that expensive, high transfer speed without errors.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these running a small network throughout my home, they have both been working perfectly since I installed them.

3 out of 5 eggsdrops packets

Pros: cheap

Cons: drops packets when transferring large files with mtu 1500

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The switch actually supports up to 15K jumbo frame for large file transfer. It should work for the packets with MTU size 1500.
Could you please double check your network environment?

5 out of 5 eggsCan't ask for anything easier

Pros: Super easy, just plug it in and go.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is incredibly easy to use and I've had zero problems with it since turning it on the first time. I've never had my network drop nor have I ever had to reboot it. In fact, I'm probably going to buy a second one for a different location in my house as I upgrade my whole network to gigabit.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works and no problems

Pros: Works great. I have 8 computers and numerous wifi devices on the network on 2 of these switches. I used cat5e with the switch and not a problem. Everything runs smooth. When I update my router I'll switch over to cat6.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Plug it in and forget it. That's all you need to do.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great.

Pros: Compact. low profile size and a flat shape. You can hide this thing anywhere on a desk or even between books. I can transfer multiple large files between the PC that does the work of ripping my video and music collection to the HTPC in the next room in minutes. Thank you gigabit network! Plug it in and go.

Cons: None at all.
