4 out of 5 eggsGreat router for the price.

Pros: - Great wireless speeds
- Easy setup

Cons: - Firmware update doesn't work with chromecast

Other Thoughts: Replaced a Linksys E1200. This router was cheap, seems very reliable, and has almost doubled my wireless speeds from my old router. The three antennas keep a robust signal in my apartment building with little to no interference.

One egg off since the newest firmware doesn't work with chromecast, but keep 3.14.5 and you'll be fine.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks good but doesnt work

Pros: Looks good software is easy to navigate

Cons: Wireless bridging does not work have tried over and over to configure. But it will not connect to my WDR 3600 router which is the root router. Was going to use this to extend the wireless range however it cannot connect. Basically its worthless paper weight.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat router, but chromecast issues

Pros: - Easy setup
- Faster peak speeds compared to wireless-G
- Lots of configurations

Cons: - Chromecast issues

Other Thoughts: My Linksys E1200 died and needed a replacement. Decent reviews, wireless-N, and cheap were my criteria. Everything worked well, but firmware update (3.15.9) will cause loss of chromecase support on V2 routers. Stick to 3.14.5

1 out of 5 eggsTP-LINK WR-940N have bad PS

Pros: We used the TP-LINK WR-940N for several years, some a slight different model (WR-940*) to designate removal antennas and the reliability was top notch until about 6 months ago.

Cons: WR-940 needs to be reset all the time, after they quit working. They remind me exactly of the D-Link DIR-615, top reliability, then all of a sudden, reset, reset. My techs noted that they use the exact same power supply that the D-Link DIR-615 did. We believe that TP-Link is the OEM Mfgr for D-Link. Chances are you will experience this!

4 out of 5 eggsdecent basic router

Pros: Works. Does need to go thru setup. Firmware update is a must. Connection problems sometimes but cant say if its router or ISP issue. As prev. Stated, any device that connects to WiFi should have a 32 digit password, so setup router wpa/wpa2 passcode with a 32 digit code. Solved all my connection issues.

Cons: Some connections problems via both wired and WiFi , but again not sure if its ISP or router. Wish manufacturer made clear that 32 digit passcodes work best for WiFi would have solved issue quickly.

Other Thoughts: For basic usage, works great. Good for standard home with basic usage.
