1 out of 5 eggsRMA

Pros: Shows a great signal.. fools you into thinking you have a great connection.

Cons: Actual download speeds are bad. On a 25mbps Upload, 25mbps Download I was only getting 1.2mb/sec (if i was lucky) on download.. 1.6mb/sec on upload.. which is roughly less then half the speed I should have been getting.. and it was reading 5 bars =/

Other Thoughts: Ended up sending this back for a refund and purchased Premiertek PL-18N in it's place and WOW am i pleased. I now download at 3.2mb/sec and upload at 3mb/sec.
And for note: I tried everything, new drivers, old drivers, cd drivers, windows drivers.. every option possible.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great- 5dBi antenna

Pros: This device actually works!!
I live in a condo complex and all the units are built of concrete- and even though the router is only 25 feet away from my room- most PCI/PCI-E adapters would not even connect to it. However, most of those (even though some were more expensive) only use a low-powered 2dBi antenna.
I connected this device and didn't even need to install drivers- Win7 installed automatically and listed all the available connections. I was able to connect to my router without any hesitation and I'm getting 4 bars of constant signal strength!

Cons: I've read that most USB WiFi devices don't last very long- I'm hoping this isn't the case with this one.

Other Thoughts: Unlike the previous review, I ran several different DSL speed tests and all of them were just as fast as being connected via network cable! This device seems to be as good as my laptop's WiFi capability- which is also very fast. So far I'm getting 11276 Kb/s download and 1314 Kb/s upload with this USB adapter.

2 out of 5 eggsActual Speeds Vary

Pros: Visually looks like your getting speed.
Picks up far away signal great.

Cons: Say's I'm getting great speeds, but when put under the test at speedtest.net, the actual speeds I was getting were horrible. Almost half of my bandwidth I was only getting compared to the device this replaced. Trust me this thing wen't in the same spots the old device went and this was put to shame.

Other Thoughts: Yeah you will get a long list of networks close to you, but to put them in any use is a longer shot. I feel as though I wasted 30 bucks.

5 out of 5 eggsVery strong adapter

Pros: High transmitted power, high sensitivity, good for big house.

Cons: No

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these adapters and plugged it into computers with win7 64-bit; drivers were installed automatically.
In the first computer this adapter replaced internal pci wireless adapter which had weak signal 2-3 bars and unstable Internet access with speed about 2Mbs. After replacing I got 5 bars and 8Mbs download and 1Mbs upload- same as my cable modem(Comcast).
Second adapter I paired with my new build mini ITX htpc which has no pci slots and also got strong signal. This adapters solved my wireless internet access problem in the big house.
