Pros: 1. Replaced the cord running down the length of my hallway.

Cons: 1. Couldn't locate any access points with driver from cd, this was fixed once I connected a wired connection and windows installed the drivers.
2. Worked for about 15 minutes with 2 bars of connection to my router which is only down the hallway.
3. After roughly 15 minutes it disconnected, and failed to reconnect after 10 tries.

I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you are next to your router, but that would render it useless, wouldn't it. Going to return as soon as I can get it in the mail.

May I know how far is it from your router to the adapter?
If it's too far, I'm afraid you'd better place the router closer or buy a range extender.
Here I introduce you a free software, inSSIDer, to detect the signal strength at the spot of your desktop.
If the signal strength is below -70dBm, you may experience bad signal strength.

Pros: Overall Good card , nice speed until it began dying on me

Cons: Began dying on me about 3 days ago passing from a download speed of 500kbps to 10kbps, it keeps disconnecting itself randomly for no reason

Other Thoughts: Good card but sucks if you get a dying card.

Pros: - Easy to install
- Plug & Play with Windows 8
- The range is fine for me and I am one room away from my router

Cons: None

Pros: This card was easy to install and it has no problems turning back on out of sleep.

Cons: I have two issues with this card. for one, i get only about 60% of my network speed, i have excellent signal to my router and yet i only get 6mbps out of 10mbps. to confirm it was the card i did a speed test with my laptop and i got 10mbps.
The range of the card is also low but not to bad.
Overall the speed drop made me unsatisfied

There may be some solutions for this issue, however. For instance, the environment your devices are in can greatly effect the quality of connection and speeds. Also, software firewalls in some cases greatly reduce transfer speeds when using wireless adapters. Wireless channel as well.

Pros: It Works and i get a signal

Cons: Signal is not the best,my router is 3 rooms over and i get 3-4 bars

Pros: Compatibility with Windows 7 and Linux is perfect. Drivers are automatically selected and configured on both systems.

Cons: The signal is horrible even with a better antennae attached. It's fine in the same room as the router, but through a single wall the signal drops to 2-4 bars out of 5.

Other Thoughts: For the price I guess you can't beat it. I would buy something more powerful if you're going to be using it at any kind of distance from the router.

Pros: Cheap
Good
Works with no hiccups on win7, no drivers needed just plug and play

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have purchased two both without any problems.

Pros: - easy to pop in
- windows detected it and installed drivers, did not need the drivers disk
- receives signal well

Cons: - not so much a con but just weird, the driver disc was an 8cm disc rather than the normal size

Other Thoughts: Excellent product if you want your desktop to have wireless internet

Pros: It was easy to install and Windows worked with it from the get go.

Cons: It doesn't get the best signal, but it's better than having a lot of wires everywhere.

Other Thoughts: Overall, pretty good buy!

Pros: Works
No driver needed; Win7 automatically detects it
Cheap and pci-e

Cons: Can't really go wrong with this

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 earlier last year, one for me and one for my friend and both of them work fine after 1.5 years of heavy use.
