4 out of 5 eggsGreat wifi adapter for the price

Pros: better than all usb adapters ive used, and cheaper

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It came in an anti-static bag as expected, but part of the pci connector had poked through the bag. No damage was done, but -1 egg for poor packaging.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Ordered as a wireless card for a second workstation. I paired this with a TS-Link Antenna, TL-ANT2408C. I receive a better signal than my TS-Link card in my other computer with the same antenna attached. Router is on the other side of house. Through the second floor, two walls, still strong signal.

Couldn't argue with the price of $20 on sale. Paired with the antenna it's still cheaper than most other wireless cards out there.

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: I didn't use the drivers on the disk, downloaded them from the website. Those from the web are perfectly. Didn't use any additional software apart from the drivers.

1 out of 5 eggslegacy product

Pros: Works well, no particular problems. Replaced the antenna with a high gain model, and then is even better.

Cons: I wrote to TP Link about Windows 10 support, and received this response:

"I am sorry that TL-WN751ND doesn't support windows 8/8.1/10, there won't be a driver for windows 10 either."

So I infer that this product is at end of life.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended.

Pros: Works as any wireless adapter should. Heck it even outperformed my desktop that was a directly wired to my router in both upload and download speeds (while in the same room as the wireless router mind you). I have had not had any issues with setup or performance to date.

Cons: None so far.

2 out of 5 eggsJUNK!

Pros: It worked great for 5 months......

Cons: .....but then the signal would constantly drop out and adapter had to be constantly reset......at first I thought it was my router, but then found out it was this wireless adapter.....now it is completely dead.

Other Thoughts: Do any pci wireless adapters actually work reliably? The wifi on my $200 laptop I've had for 3 years works with no issues....wifi still works great,, and there is nothing great about that laptop either. Over the years I've used 3 pci wireless adapters and all have failed. I even tried a usb wifi adapter and the connection would go in & out on that too...i'm curious why wifi on desktop systems just stinks so bad?

3 out of 5 eggsWorks OK

Pros: Cost $14. Installed easy and it worked right away.

Cons: Signal drops a lot, cuts out. When it does it re-acquires it quickly.. I have three walls between my router and the desktop. I read that an external antenna may fix this.

Other Thoughts: I have a netgear 802n 300mbs router which blasts out a signal and this card just does not pick it up well. My Roku is in the same room and gets a strong signal.
One thing, use Windows wireless set up and not the TP link setup. When the signal drops off it won't start up again without typing in your code. Very annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking for over a year now

Pros: Nice working wireless card and have yet to have any issues with the card; owning it for over a year now. Purchased 06/05/2013.

Cons: None. Works great so far.

Other Thoughts: Seemed to fit in the computer nicely, as do most expansion cards, however; I'm satisfied with the product.

3 out of 5 eggslasted 15 months

Pros: It's good when it's working

Cons: sometimes not stable and need to be reset to have it continue to work.
Now it just failed. A $15 card lasted for 15 months, not much to complain.

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with windows 8

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Incompatible with windows 8. Showing healthy in device manager, and 412.3 Gbps on network status, but can't connect to any network.
