2 out of 5 eggsHmm

Pros: A lot of ports
Runs Cold
Wall Mount
Not really made good enough to use all 16 ports 24/7.
Should run fine if you only have 5~6 ports in use... which kind of makes it pointless.

Cons: I have 4 of these.
Only one is working flawlessly.

The other 3 work fine for a few hours, then suddenly half the ports will cause an un-identified network problem and disconnect the computers, the only way to fix it is to unplug the hub for an hour and then plug it back in for some reason....... so now I need to replace the hub with a more expensive one, which I could of just ordered in the first-place instead of wasting money on these.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend for anyone who needs a 24/7 flawless solution, you would be lucky if this thing runs for a few days without giving you a head-ache, the down-time from this hub has cost me over 450$ in potential profit, browsing now for a better more expensive solution.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Customer,

Thank you for checking out our Switch and we are sorry to see that you are not fully satisfied with this.

These devices are plug and play and we don't normally run into these kinds of errors.

Most of the time it is usually a collison on the Network or mis configuration with other devices.

If you would like to contact me directly at with a bit of information on your set-up, then I am sure I can help assist with the problems that you are running in to.

Best Regards!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Inexpensive Switch

Pros: I have one of these hubs installed in a school lab setting. All 16 ports in use, and getting hard use for several months without any problems. It runs only slightly warm to the touch.

Cons: The LED's only indicate a connection. They are not different colors for different connection speeds like some other switches, if you care about that sort of thing.

Other Thoughts: As you can see from the pictures, the LED's are on the front of the unit, and the ports are on the back - it's a desktop switch, not a rack type. There are no rack ears included. I would recommend for desktop use, and I am buying two more for the school.

5 out of 5 eggsIt laughed at me!

Pros: 16 ports, unmanaged, small, cheap and stays cool!

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I recently had a lan party and we managed to bump the network up to 98% with most of the ports filled, when I checked it for heat, it was like it was laughing at me! Stayed cool for over 10 hours straight with constant bombardment of the network! Definitely worth the price!

5 out of 5 eggsVery satisfield Overall

Pros: 16 ports for $32!!! Easy to set up and easy to use. Smaller than I thought and fits in nicely to me little set up.

Cons: The only thing I can think of that I would like better is a longer power cord. It's an average length, but I'd like a few feet more as it's on the top of my desk cabinets. It's not a con for the device so I didn't dock it an egg.

Other Thoughts: I have a 4 port Linksys router and a 5 port Cisco E Series Switch and didn't figure I'd run out of ports, but I did. I saw this one for $32 (shipping price added in) and that's just over $1 a port!!! Figured I'd pick this up and not run out again! If you've got a home network, this would work well for you as it has for me.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's cheap and it works

Pros: First time using this brand name. Its cheap and it works with no problem. I got it for $25. 16 ports more than anyone needs for home use.

Does not get warm.

Cons: Its not 1gb ports for $25. 100mb is more than enough for home use.

Looks cheap.
