5 out of 5 eggsPlug and play with windows 8 and 10 tech preview

Pros: Have used one for over a year and recently got another one for a pc i moved to my master bedroom downstairs.I have used it with windows 7,8,8.1,and windows 10 tech preview and it just works with the windows drivers built into the latest windows builds. My router is upstairs in my living room and get a good signal downstairs in my basement.Antennas can be removed and upgraded i suppose but i don't it would be necessary.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Got it for $14 with a promo code cant beat that.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: So far it works really fast and is actually limited by my router. Still, my ping is consistently under 40.

Cons: Setup for the first connection a little confusing but if you know even the basics of networking you will do just fine.

Other Thoughts: For those people who are hesitant to use the wireless USB this is a quality alternative, especially for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent adapter

Pros: -Seems to hold network very stable
-Drivers easily accessible on company website
-Easy to install
-Appears to be of good build quality overall
-Good pricing

Cons: -Can't seem to get above 144.4 Mbps sitting right next to a (relatively) new dual channel Linksys router, wonder why it isn't using the 2nd channel.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's been great so far.

5 out of 5 eggsstable card for $$

Pros: Easy install, follow instructions and install drivers on disc.
Very stable wifi connection. Links at 300mps on 802.1n signal.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: Make sure you cancel Windows automatic driver install when your computer discovers adapter. Use provided disc with drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

Pros: Easy to install, simple to use. connects every time.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: My windows drive is a Crucial SSD, and with my previous wireless adaptor (Etekcity) windows would boot and both Steam and Origin apps would load before the wireless had connected, causing a slightly annoying but daily "cannot connect" message before I would have to close the apps and restart manually. I like my apps to start right away so this was annoying. This adaptor connects almost instantly to my wifi and I have never had one instance where it wasn't ready when the apps loaded. When it works perfectly you almost forget about it.

5 out of 5 eggsgood stuff

Pros: Fast as advertised - I can pull over 60 mbps from my router (from speedtest.net) consistently.
Powerful - most of my connections have been though at least one floor AND one wall
overall very reliable.

Cons: you MUST update to the latest firmware, and be very good about keeping up with it. TP-Link does things right the first time in my book, but when there's a new update it's for a really, really good reason and the differences are incredible.

Other Thoughts: I've recommended this to many, many people...including their 2 antenna version that's cheaper. These things go on sale plenty of times and sale prices beat competitors in this division such as asus and rosewill... every time. 10/10 would buy again. or maybe when I switch to AC :)

2 out of 5 eggsGreat when it works

Pros: Easy installation, worked immediately with Windows 8.1, no drivers necessary. Gets good download and upload speeds, great price.

Cons: Frequently loses connection, especially when playing games. Latency is usually low, and I frequently lose connection and get kicked out of games. Makes it nearly impossible to play online. I do not have these issues at all when directly wired to my router.

Other Thoughts: Specs: AMD FX 6300 3.5 GHz CPU, GSkill 8 GB RAM, Asus motherboard, Radeon R9 270X 2GB GPU. I'm wondering if installing drivers given with the product will have any effect.
