3 out of 5 eggsGood for basic Wi-Fi Use

Pros: - Connects to Wi-Fi without issue or drops

Cons: - Not the fastest available, it was a big "bottleneck" for my FiberOp speeds but that was to be expected

Other Thoughts: - This is perfect for if you travel with your PC and you can't guarantee were you are going will have a wired connection

5 out of 5 eggsGreat adapter

Pros: 2.4 or 5ghz, PC-E so it will work with newer computers
It has two external antennas which help with range.

I really couldn't find anything I disliked about this card. It worked right out of the box and required very little configuration. I was impressed with the wireless speeds

Cons: Nothing to say bad, other than its out of stock and it says newer version is out.

Other Thoughts: If you can still find one it works great

Pros: Easy to install and worked as soon as I installed the drivers.

Cons: None that I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: I have used this unit on two builds now and it has just plain worked both times. I have not installed any included drivers, just ran it off the Windows/Motherboard drivers and it works great.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: For what it's worth, my router is centrally located on the first floor and I have always used this adapter in the basement and get 4 out of 5 bars signal strength with no drops.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far, So Good

Pros: -Great deal while on sale
-5GHz compatibility
-Plug and play on Linux! (At least, it is on an Ubuntu based distrobution)
-No other connection problems that had anything to do with the adapter (mostly ISP specific issues)

Cons: -The regular price
-It doesn't do my taxes and mow my lawn

Other Thoughts: If I could, I think I would give this 4.5 eggs due to the price being a hair too steep for someone with my budget, but my budget is lower than most people, so many people may be perfectly content buying this at regular price. I thought I remember it still being cheaper than it's competitors.

I still can't recommend this more if you, like me, were looking for a relatively inexpensive solution to needing something compatible with 5GHz connections. The difference has been night and day for me.

Since I've not owned this adapter for very long, I will update this review shortly after any issues occur. For now, literally, my only complaint is the price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: no issues. connects fine and speed isn't bottlenecked by this card.

Cons: make sure to attach antennae after you plug it in. see if you can use default OS drivers instead of the disk they provide.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor download / upload speed

Pros: It plugged in....

Cons: Right from the start the upload and download speeds were slow. Tried reinstalling the driver... No change. Running the test next to a laptop connected by wifi to the same router, the laptop got 9Mb/s and this adapter got 0.4Mb/s. Rubbish! It's going in the trash as soon as I can find a replacement.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money.
