Pros: Easy to setup

Cons: Did the test on my own router. Use this unit to scan, found a lot of wireless access points including my router with very strong signal. Then choose a mode such as Client/AP Client Router, reboot, the unit said no signal not mater how to adjust the orientation. Obviously the design of the firmware is very bad.

Pros: Simple backend, great range, lots of built-in tools, solid construction.

Cons: Mounting Options limited. It seems intended to be mounted on a pole with the supplied zip ties. Would be nice if it wasn't all one piece of plastic on the back but something removable or modifiable for different mounting applications.

Other Thoughts: Used to cover over 300 ft distance to outdoor camera system. Goes well beyond the needed distance and has been very reliable so far. Could see it's function as a bridge in business application but works well as AP also.

Pros: Had to install two of these in a farm area. I am not sure what the max distance is but at the distance of 2 football fields all around we had 5 bars.

Cons: I really didn't find any cons but be aware you must provide your own mounting hardware.

Other Thoughts: Yes, these are worth the price and effective for your outdoor needs.
