5 out of 5 eggsReliable Connection

Pros: Worked right away when added to an existing Powerline setup we have.
Existing setup was a different brand (Netgear AV5001) but all units played nicely together.
Stable, steady connection for transferring files, streaming HD video, sharing files and printer on our Windows home network.

Cons: Main limitation is that the network jacks are of the older standard 10/100 variety. These days a superior result can be had by choosing the faster 10/100/1000 (called "gigabit"). However, if you're only doing one thing at a time with this powerline adapter then you won't notice any problems.

Other Thoughts: It's nice that you can mix different brands of powerline adapters and they work OK. We've used several TP-Link products and they've all been pretty good value. Our current wireless router is the best we've ever owned and it's a TP-Link Archer C9 (AC-1900); previously we had the great bang-for-buck WDR-3600.

4 out of 5 eggsPlug and play but pretty slow

Pros: Plug and play, one of the adapters has two Ethernet ports, great value. The included Ethernet cables are good quality.

Cons: Slow speed compared to what is advertised and no upgrade over AV200. 500Mbps is simply a blatant lie, not possible even theoretically since the Ethernet ports on these devices are only 10/100.

Other Thoughts: This kit is an excellent value if you get it on sale. The down side is that it is fairly slow. I was unable to get anything over 4MB/s(as in megabytes, not megabits) even with the two devices connected to adjacent outlets on the same circuit. This is about the same speed that I was getting with an AV200 kit also from TP-Link so if you are trying to decide between the two, there is probably no difference other than the second port that you get on one of the devices. On the plus side, it works quite well if you are satisfied with those speeds.

1 out of 5 eggsMisleading!!!

Pros: Price - 19.99 plus tax with a sale/discount. Easy to setup. Plug them in, press the two buttons on each device and you have connectivity.

Cons: I used the "LAN Speed Test lite" to test the bandwidth. I wasn't getting anything close to 500Mbps, the best I was able to get even within the same room was 15 Mbps. I hate it when companies dupe customers like this. Advertising is very misleading. but totally unnecessary.

Other Thoughts: If you are expecting 500Mbs or anything close to that don't waste your money on this. You are better off using wifi range extender than this thing. Also the security is fairly weak on this device. I wish I has user configurable passwords.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply amazed

Pros: -Simple connection, took only minutes to install
-Auto pairing, took me less steps than the instruction book said!
-Fast and stable connection, I get almost the same performance and speed as I would if the computer was plugged directly into the router.

Cons: The Ethernet cables are relatively weak and can easily be broken, suggest using an aftermarket cable instead of the ones that are given if you plan on unplugging plugging often.

Other Thoughts: After reading on how this works I had my doubts, it didn't make sense to me that i would be able to get internet via power adapter. Through all my past attempts of getting a stable connection to my room with range extenders with Ethernet ports, nothing ever worked. I honestly thought this was going to have some sort of drawback, some flaw that will hinder my internet performance but it did the complete opposite, it gave me fast internet in just minutes. This is by far the best investment I made and I am sure it will not disappoint you neither!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazingly Simple! Perfect Solution!

Pros: Ease of setup - TRUE Plug and Play Tech!!
HD streaming speed
Reduces Wi-Fi traffic and EMF radiation
Much smaller than it appears online
Dual Ethernet ports for convenience

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: After a year of frustration and trying to get a strong, consistent network signal to my master bedroom using various Wi-Fi extenders, I came across these powerline adapters and thought I'd give it a try. I have a TP-Link N750 Router that works great for me as well as a TP-Link 5 port switch, so keeping the powerline adapters in the same manufacturer family made sense to me.

Within 5 minutes of opening the box, I had a strong HD-streaming capable network connection to my bedroom and I'm finally able to watch my Netflix and Tablo frustration free and without the constant buffering!! And my Apple TV also doesn't lose the signal anymore for streaming music throughout the house. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and all of my TP-Link networking products!

I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing to extend their network to remote areas of their homes with weak Wi-Fi signals as this product far exceeds the capabilities of those technologies.

5 out of 5 eggsTP-Link TL-PA4026KIT is Great!

Pros: The TL-PA4026Kit is very easy to install.
Plug (1) in the wall near your router, hook up the Ethernet cable between them, plug in a 2nd Powerline adapter into another outlet nearby, press the link button on the 1st and then the 2nd and they're linked. You can then move the 2nd adapter anywhere in the house to use. At least that's the way it was in my house. I can even plug it into an outside outlet to use if needed for my devices.
Very easy to setup.

Cons: None..

If hooking up to a PC, make sure your network device drivers are installed. After using wireless for a while you may have disabled them.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these kits. You only need 1 for your router and the others I used for 2 Blurays, 2 PC's & laptops and I can keep adding to this setup. I can move them around if I want and they work good. No more buffering with wireless.
Actually it frees up the wireless network by using the powerline adapters, for when my grand-daughter's come over with their Ipads, they can all watch Netflix or play online games at the same time, without affecting my usage.
These are great!

5 out of 5 eggsPlug & Play

Pros: Plug and Play, exactly as stated.
As advertised, ZERO issues at all, literally:

Unbox, plug 1 into wall and plug in cable to router - halfway done.
Plug other into any other wall outlet, plug cable into device and DONE.

Cons: None so fat

Other Thoughts: Speed is dependent on too many factors and variables,
This is MUCH more stable and faster than most WIFI and much easier to setup.

This works like a champ.

To the ones that say it does not work across a breaker box - it did in my case
No fuss, no muss setup
