5 out of 5 eggsGood purchase

Pros: Increased my range drastically. It's well designed with very strong magnets on the bottom for slapping it on the top or side of your PC case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This will fix your range problem just be careful with the magnets around your computer gear.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Bottom line, it works. If you must go over wifi and your current signal is weak this will boost it. It helps being able to move the antenna several feet away from your computer for optimal placement.

Cons: Can't complain with improved signal reception

Other Thoughts: I have two of these paired with two different model TS-link cards. One of these antennas is plugged directly into the wireless card. The other antenna is plugged into a wireless card via an extended 30' shielded cable. Cabling isn't an option but these wifi antennas definitely help to fill that gap. Wireless through a storey and two walls, strong reception.

5 out of 5 eggs100% is hard to beat

Pros: Works perfectly
Great price
FREE shipping
One day delivery

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Must tell you that I also recently purchased one of these units but I switched to Time Warner Cable on Sept. 8..

I can spit farther than the gateway they recommended so I purchased this copy knowing that it would solve my problem and IT DID!

I highly recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: I bought this item because I'm in a situation where I have to have a wireless connection and the antennas in my wifi card just couldn't even detect my network. After installing it I went from not being able to see my network into getting speeds of 15 megabits per second, so I'm very pleased with this product. I don't lag in games unless I have multiple applications in the background using up internet.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I recommend getting this product if you're like me, having to run a wireless setup.

3 out of 5 eggsDidn't use it.

Pros: Magnets in base hold it to metal objects

Cons: 3 foot cable. One of the reasons to use an external antenna is to be able to maximize reception by placing it in an spot to receive good reception. This was purchased to upgrade the cheap antenna that came with my WIFI card. But the old antenna had an 8ft cable. I was able to put the old antenna around a corner to have one less wall between the antenna and the router. This TP-LINK antenna has a 3 ft cable. Not able to place it where the old antenna was, the result was it had less sensitivity than the old antenna.

Other Thoughts: Too cheap to pay to return.

3 out of 5 eggsNot a Review

Pros: I have been looking getting an extension antenna for network card. I noticed that the wording in specs for connection didn't seem right compared to photo. I went to TP-LINKS sight and confirmed my suspicions:

Cons: Where it says RP-SMA male connector, should say RP-SMA female connector. Don't mean to be a correction bug but almost turned me away. But wanted to share for future low level buyers Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsDid the job

Pros: I needed to boost the signal on a workstation that had a wireless card buried behind a desk. This one did the trick. I don't think you can find an 8dBi antenna for less.

Cons: Cable is a bit short, but just long enough.
