5 out of 5 eggsGreat for getting more signal

Pros: still works over 2 years later. added more signal to my wireless card, lets you position your antennas for better signal pickup. The magnet on the back of this thing is awesome.

Cons: One antenna broke fairly easily.

Other Thoughts: great device.

5 out of 5 eggsGood if you need it.

Pros: Cheap. Works well

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: While it didn't resolve the problems I needed it to resolve (not the fault of the device), it did improve the signal for a relative of mine, living in a rural area, in an old (think interference from old wiring) house. It did significantly improve the signal issues in his wireless connection, and helped us work toward stabilizing the connectivity of his over all internet connection. However, their modem also suffers from packet loss due to excessive noise on the phone lines. However, while the problem was not solved, there was a notable improvement in overall connectivity using Skype, and other data streaming that made the unstable internet just a bit more bearable.

5 out of 5 eggsInstall & Go

Pros: Used this in combination with a Rosewill RNX-N300X IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 PCI Wireless Adapter Installation was uneventful and so has the operation and reliability. Exactly what the doctor ordered.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Delivery was timely and well informed via e-mail. The installation invironment was 12GB i5-3450 intel microprocessor running Windows 7 -64 bit os. Results were excellent.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work

Pros: Less-than-none; if one counts the wasted money and time in ordering, manipulating it, hoping to make it somehow work, and ultimately realizing what a useless product this really is. It wouldn't work on any of the several PCs in my home. And lastly it is magnetized; and upon reflection, maybe it's a good thing it doesn't work. . . . .I wouldn't want to fry my data.

Cons: 3 words: doesn't work. Period.

Other Thoughts: Upon bringing problem to the attention of Newegg personnel, along with mutually-beneficial suggestion for resolution, I couldn't be happier with Newegg's response; resulting in continuing to keep me the happy little Newegg shopper they've known me to be for some years, now.

5 out of 5 eggsNecessary for maximum range

Pros: Small footprint and doubles the previous range of my wifi card.

Cons: Tiny fingers needed to screw onto the wifi card, but that depends on your set up.

Other Thoughts: Valuable addition to maximize my wireless range.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little wifi antenna!

Pros: I have a desktop (with an aluminium case) that has a pci wireless card and the puny little antennas it came with didn't get a good signal with the machine under my desk. Now, with the rosewill antenna I can plug 2 of 3 of the antennas into my pci wireless card and place the base on top of the desk where I get much better signal and speed. Benchmarks on speedtest website went from 3-9 MBPs to 15-23 MBPs consistently! Give it a try - hope it solves your issues.

Cons: none yet. It does take up some desk space but now my wifi doesn't suck!

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is amazing

Pros: I put this in my desktop in my bed room about 700 ft from the router through several walls, electronics and a mirror and it boosted my signal from practically non existent to 100% when the kitchen microwave isn't on then it drops to about 40% hah.

Cons: None what so ever.

Other Thoughts: If your putting your desktop any considerable distance from your router and you need a cheap upgrade from the generic stock antennas your card probably came with then look no further for it's price range this little wonder can't be beat.

1 out of 5 eggsno instructions!

Pros: none that I can figure out since it doesn't hook up to my Belkin

Cons: I couldn't find any info before I bought this on what exactly it does or how it is hooked up. But I took a chance for a low price, and figured once I got the instructions I would make it work. A chance I shouldn't have taken. NO instructions - none! It says in the item description compatible with 2X3 or 3X3 routers. What the heck is a 2x3 or 3x3 router, never heard that terminology. My Belkin router has 2 antennas, that don't come off, so I apparently it isn't compatible. Wish it had some instructions so I could at least know how it is supposed to work.

1 out of 5 eggsDid not help with reception

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Did not work at all, reception actually is worse than before hooking it up. Took it off right away.
Waste of money.

Other Thoughts: Listen to others who posted a review, this antenna do not help with reception issue. It is easier to reposition an antenna than a whole router, so that might be the reason it works for some people.
