5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: easy to install and move. reception slightly impoved but my card has two spots but newegg only one available to buy. just ordered my second one

Cons: nothing is really a con

Other Thoughts: -great product. thats why i finally buying the second one since newegg never notified me when it became available.
- its long. better reception requires it so you better be prepared for it.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap Upgrade

Pros: Cheap, small, magnetic base.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This cheap antenna provides a significant increase in wireless connectivity and signal strength, even for a more expensive router. Great when paired with a decent length of wire, allowing you to magnetically attach your antennas in an area with less RF interference.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy to set up and better than most built in antennae

Pros: Nice signal
independant pivoting elbow for pointing

Cons: None that I can see so far.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend if you are using default 5 inch antenna provided bu FIOS router and want to expand signal a bit without a hole if your pocket.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Great product, gives about a one bar increase but i was already at good (very good now)

Cons: Price, seriously how much does it cost to make an antenna?

Other Thoughts: There are good antennas out there now, I'd put this on par with some of the better ones and the price is more reasonable, but still it doesn't cost anywhere near the price paid to make one of these.

5 out of 5 eggsIncreased signal at distant end

Pros: Replaced stock antenna on my WL-500g. It booseted sugnal on the thinkpad on the next floor of the house by about 40%. Worth less the twenty bucks to ensure a strong signal.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great as an upgrade to an existing PCI WiFi card. Have the D-Link DWL-G510, and had been having problems with signal strength. My laptop works fine from even farther away in the same room. So I bought this after someone recommended an upgrade for that card. Powered down my pc (necessary?), unscrewed the old one, "twisted" this one in, booted, and have been getting better latency in online games (WoW) since. (From 250ms-2200ms & disconnects down to 52ms-150)

Cons: Ordered it a day late and had to wait over the weekend to get it.

Other Thoughts: If you suspect you need this, then you probably do. Buy it now, without hesitation!
(Why can I say unscrewed but not that same word minus the 'un'? Had to substitute 'twisted')
