4 out of 5 eggsGood product but...

Pros: It's very easy to connect it (Windows 7) just plug it into tv. Other one into laptop HDMI and 2 USB's and it works like a charm. Picture quality is nice and sharp. This device have not let me down yet. I don't know about other reviews, but it seems really easy to reconnect it.

I can't not tell you anything about the range because my tv is 8 ft away from laptop. The only reason I bought this product is to stream movies from laptop to the tv.

Cons: NOT GOOD FOR GAMING. yes if you are planning to play games it's not the great using. This 1ms delay really makes a difference. All I tried is dash game and it's just unplayable. That's the only reason why I give it for stars.

Other Thoughts: There are more reviews for this product online. I would recommend to buy it from reputable seller, in case you don't like it you can return it without any hassle.

This product meets my needs,

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: I put this in the study, and it streams through the wall to the TV set with no problems - about 20', straight-line. No loss of sound or picture quality whatsoever, no stuttering. The signal is picked up very quickly after the unit is plugged in. I dropped cable and bought this instead of a set-top box because I wanted to stream from multiple video sites, including ESPN 360, that often don't come built in to new TVs or DVD players or set top boxes.

Cons: You have unplug the unit (on both ends) when not in use - when it's hooked up, sound will only work on the receiving unit, not the sending computer. There is no on/off switch, so you have to manually unplug. Also: unless you want to use the ~3" (yes, that's inch) HDMI cable for the either of the units (sending or receiving), buy an extra HDMI cable with your order.

Other Thoughts: Minor quibble - the fan on the receiving unit is audible in a generally quiet room. However, it is unnoticeable when streaming video and sound. When setting up initially, you will have to make sure the screen you are sending the signal to duplicates your desktop instead of extends your desktop.
Overall: excellent value - highly recommended. I can't believe there aren't more reviews for this product.
You will always know that whatever you can watch on your computer, you can stream to your TV. If your computer is anywhere close to your TV, buy this instead of a set top box or a media center PC, and just stream your video.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, for what you get. Other products similar to this are nearly double the cost if not more, and those have setup required. Literally plugged this in and turned on my PS3 and TV. Thats the setup...done.

Cons: Not a single one, oo wait it didn't cook my breakfast today.

Other Thoughts: Most assuredly an awesome product, I have been awaiting this purchase coupled with a new TV for a few months now, and it lives up to all the expectations!

If you are like me and have small kids, this can be a lifesaver. It allows me to keep my PS3 away from my kids and stream content to my TV with no lag and no LoS required.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Potential

Pros: Easy initial setup, good HD quality, no latency. No noticeable problem going thru a wall about 10 feet from the reciever.

Cons: Could never get it to connect again after initial setup. After an hour I put it back in the box. Too many wires for simple laptop use. Probably better permanently connected to a PC.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my 80+ year old Dad to stream Graboid movies with to his Samsung hdtv. He used to be tech savy but he's getting challenged so this turned out not to be a good choice for him. Otherwise it has great potential. I will be buying him a Wi-Fi ready Blu-ray player instead so he can get Netflix.

1 out of 5 eggsAsus Ew2000

Pros: Set up is easy

Cons: Every time you shut off tv the receiver has to be unplugged and reset when you turn tv back on to receive 1080p transmission. Then it takes about 3-4 minutes before it get the transmission.

Other Thoughts: Do not spend a cent on this. Go for the brite view bv-2500. Costs about $100 more but worth not having to constantly reset.
