Pros: I bought this one when it was priced at $599 and had free shipping on it. For the price it well worth it, i5-430m ,128 dedicated graphics memory. The computer is real fast and efficient. It also got a 4.7 Windows Experience Index.
Cons: Bloatware not a lot but yet it would have been better if it was without it. You have to make your own recovery disks, which these days is the standard in the industry. The only thing i dont like is the touchpad. it got some good features to it but its not that accurate and/or smooth compared to the other laptops i owned/have.
Other Thoughts: good laptop at a decent price. it can also be a good for the students.

Rating: 5/5Great laptop
Pros: Overall it runs perfect and very fast (DDR3 1066 + a turbo I5 430, woot). Battery time is awesome. around 4 hours.
Cons: its very prone to fingerprints seeing as its all glossy. The clicker is kinda annoying its a mirror as well so fingerprints get over that as well. Webcam software is annoying. and Intel HD graphics arent the best but you get what u pay for i guess.
Other Thoughts: A nice affordable laptop for college students who need a higher end one.

Rating: 3/5OK but Some Design Flaws
Pros: Fast, good looks, good features
Cons: Run and I.T. company, bought 4 for a client. The Mouse left/right click "bar" SUCKS! It is awkward, skinny, in a bad position, and hard to push, especially with a relaxed flat-lying thumb and is quite a reach compared to just about every other laptop I've ever used. The further to the edges you push the easier it will go down, but the further of a reach it is. Also, the NUMPAD, which would normally be a big plus for a laptop is not a standard design. the + key is at the top and the enter key is at the bottom (as opposed to having these to keys along the right-hand side). I'm just wondering why whoever designed this laptop decided to re-invent the wheel with these two things??? DUMB DUMB DUMB.
Other Thoughts: overall OK laptop, if it had the standard "fat" left and right click buttons right at the bottom of the touchpad (or were at least no so darn stiff) AND had a standard numpad (like HP, Toshiba and Acer models), then I would have given if 5 stars.

Rating: 5/5great Core i5 laptop
Pros: price!, keyboard, i5 processor, HDMI, DDR3 16:9 aspect ratio (wider than my previous laptop, which must have been something like 16:10)
Cons: preinstalled 'bloatware', have to burn recovery disks (none included- but this is pretty standard nowadays)
Other Thoughts: Overall a great laptop. The Core i5 is especially speedy when paired with the 4gb DDR3. Intel HD graphics seem decent, but I don't do any gaming, and haven't watched much in terms of high def videos yet or anything. I really like the feel of the keyboard. There is a number pad on the right. The touch pad is said to have some "multi-gesture" features, but I have yet to use them. I have experienced some unexplained issues with my browser going back a page when I touch the touch pad, but the issue has been few, and minor. (and it could be operator error?)
I didn't care for all the pre-installed bloatware. It was easy enough to remove, I suppose, but I would rather it just not be there. There was much less of this on my three year old Dell laptop. No recovery disks are included, you have to burn them.
This has worked great so far. My battery life is somewhere between 3 and 4 hours on the standard brightness, but I haven't actually recorded the time, so that could be off a bit
