great value packed laptop
- Pros: great laptop. feels right. got all the essentials. in a nut shell, for under 500 bucks you get 1 GB of Memory, 120GB HDD. not to mention it comes with other toshiba resources that make it even better. I especially like the HDD protection software which moves the hard drive head to a safe spot to prevent any physical damage.
- Cons: I could do without some things like the free trial programs and stuff. Not much else. Vista Home Basic works just fine.

- Cons: its a total piece of crud. everything gave out. first it was the touch pad. i had to go buy a mouse. next it was the keyboard and so on and so on. its a total piece of crud. stay away from toshiba.

good bang for buck
- Pros: good bang for buck. passed on others in this range for 10/100/1000 network. that was a deal killer. good image and speed and fair hd space.
- Cons: no web cam and 1gb memory. wow requires upgrade on mem.agian NO recovery dvd not even xp. takes 3 dvds to make back up and then you have bloat ware ever time to remove from system
- Other Thoughts: bloatware should bre on a seperate dsk. com port not needed. the audio cables could be color coded and maybe have the recovery dsk maker easier to find..its hidden down a few items in the start tree. other than these minor cosmetic items good machine for money. ram was a 41 dollar upgrade at newegg. not bad togo from 1 to 4 gig/
