solid laptop overall
- Pros: -offers good value for the price; dual core processor definitely translates to good processor speed even on the slow and laggy vista OS and even windows 8 ie. continues to run strong on my mcafee 3in1 antivirus software.
-doesn't carry too much bloatware vs. other laptops on the market.
-love that it comes with a webcam and face recognition/security software
- Cons: -processor seems to be running a bit warmer/hotter vs. my previous laptops (acer extenza, dell inspiron series)
-could use an hdmi input and more usb inputs vs. similarly priced laptops on the market (hp, gateway)
Strong machine - weak sound
- Pros: Price, design (solid feel), features (webcam, card reader, media buttons, volume dial, eSata port), touchpad has a great feel, high contrast keys on keyboard.
- Cons: Speakers barely loud enough to watch online episodes, Incomplete offering of XP drivers on Toshiba website.
- Other Thoughts: For the price I'm really happy with the product. The machine has a solid look and feel. I wish the speakers produced better sound.
