Cons: It will blue screen nearly constantly... A near hour on the phone arguing with tech support wanting me to wipe it and me demanding overnight shipping for free since its only 2 and a half weeks old was met with a you have 2 options. If you want a laptop your going to get to send back to toshiba within a few weeks then buy this and oh yeah expect 15 days of turn around time for it as well.

Laptop BSODS, Turns off, slow boot

Pros: The laptop is very speedy when it works, the main problems appear to be with the operating system and not with hardware acceleration of other software. The display is great, the graphics card powerful.
Despite all it's problems I like the overall machine. I am hoping that after I send it back and get a new one I have a flawless experience with it.
Cons: The machine I got appears to have some kind of hard drive or motherboard issue.
It frequently BSODS, and has hard drive hiccups.
Programs crash frequently and the CD drive is loud and is slow to read.
I have a 10-20 minute boot time and then about 5-10 minutes waiting for the bloatware to load before I cans tart using it.
Other Thoughts: All things considered I'm sure that the problems are uniquely faulty hardware and not the fault of Toshiba or Newegg, but the experience still has soured me to buying future machines online.

Pros: This thing is great. The thing that I was most impressed with is that if you use skype as I do, the sound cancelling technology in the laptop blocks 100% of the sound from the speakers. I mean I had them reasonably loud and my friend on the other side said he couldn't hear anything. Other than that, just like everyone else has said, it's and amazing laptop and has run anything I've thrown at it.
Cons: I wish the screen resolution was bigger, but whatever, it's still great.
Other Thoughts: playing around with windows 7 is fun.
