The Acer Aspire AS5520-5142 packs a powerful punch in a cost effective format. This 15.4" WXGA notebook is powered by a Mobile Athlon 64 X2 Processor running at 1.8GHz. It comes with 3GB of DDR2 memory to easily handle the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and the NVIDIA GeForce 7000M graphics subsystem.
Acer has installed a 160GB hard drive. Loading software or making backups is easy with the integrated DVD Super-Multi drive. Plug in extra storage to one of the 4 USB ports, or transfer data directly by inserting a memory card into the 5-in-1 card reader. An ExpressCard rounds things out slot for add ons.
Use the slot to add connectivity if the built in 802.11b/g wireless and Gigabit Ethernet aren't enough. There's even a modem jack on the back panel in case you need to (gasp!) dial in. No matter how you connect, the AS5520-5142 can easily handle your productivity needs.
