not bad for the money
- Pros: nice small portable size. all i needed was an on the go internet surfer and that exactly what this does.
- Cons: only comes with one gb ram. works ALOT better with the 2 gb stick.
a buttload of software installed from manufacturer.
- Other Thoughts: just need to watch the battery life.
Great Netbook
- Pros: This is a great portable netbook with all the bells and whistles needed for a traveling.
1. 10.1" Screen size (Don't get any one smaller)
2. 160 G HD is perfect size
3. Win XP Home. Perfect.
4. Keyboard size perfect.
5. 3 cell ok for short usage to 3 hrs
6. 1 gig memory is great
- Cons: The only cons I have is that I removed all the garbage software that comes witht he machine and I fine tuned mine to startup & shutdown in 15 seconds with 1 gug Ram under WinXP Home.
- Other Thoughts: Even though many prople have cons I don't have any.
This is a great looking and practical netbook for people on the go.
It is not a gamers netbook. LOL
It is not a high level multi task Power machine. LOL
And if you want your battery to last you need to read the book and totally charge and discharge the battery about 4 times. This is written int he book and many people forget to read the important stuff.
My 3 cell last easily 3 hrs for me.
I charged my battery 100% before turning it on.
I also charged and discharged it 4 time over the first week as per manuf. directions.
Nice netbook
- Pros: 1.) Light in weight
2.) Slim
3.) Decent battery life (around 2 hrs and 45 min. for me)
4.) Built-in webcam and microphone
5.) Not a lot of bloatware
6.) Multi-touch on the touch pad
7.) Very bright screen
8.) COMES WITH WINDOWS XP!!!
- Cons: 1.) Small (duh)
2.) Gets a little warm
3.) Wish it had a 6 cell battery
4.) No DVD drive (duh again)
- Other Thoughts: I am a college student and went with a netbook, instead of a laptop this time around because they are lighter and get decent battery life. Wish that it came with a little faster CPU and a 7200 RPM hardrive, but it works fine as is, and for about $300 I really can't complain. I have big hands but it only took me about 2 days to get used to the keyboard. Just ordered another gig of RAM and can't wait to see what that does for it. :)
