Great So Far
- Pros: Easy to use for non techies
small size but big keyboard

Very nice system, replaced my 8.9" Aspire One. Bigger but still portable. Plus, I can type on this one.
Very responsive - combination of CPU + 64-bit + Windows 7.
If there is a fan in this thing, I got a quiet one, I barely hear it.
This 11.6" Acer platform comes in a lot of flavors - check the specs carefully - I almost bought a single core in error.
Not all that much bloatware - you want bloatware, get a VAIO.
High quality, good fit. Glossy plastic not so great, but the palm rest is metallic-ish so no palm prints.
Seems like good battery life. Screen is so good, when on battery and brightness auto lowers a bit, you don't notice.
Perfect HDMI connection first time to my 40". Just ordered 25' HDMI cable - so this becomes my portable media center.

- Cons: Now my wife wants one and my daughter thinks it's a better deal than a 12" Macbook. I may be getting another one soon.
- Other Thoughts: I hate, just hate Vista (used on my company ThinkPad). So far (fingers crossed) Windows 7 looks pretty good. This little Acer is faster than my T7200 X60 ThinkPad.
I tried 64-bit Internet Explorer for kicks and got a couple minor errors. I use Firefox anyway and have had no problems.
FWIW, Windows 7 Media Center isn't so bad.
OUTSTANDING!
- Pros: Extremely responsive in Windows 7. The 1080p feature works well. I am amazed about how powerful this system is in such a compact package! For now the battery life is excellent. I run Photoshop CS2 on it without any issues at all. Very powerful little machine.
- Cons: Like most other HDMI outputs, the flat screen scaling requires tweaking. I'm not a big fan of the shiny back-side of the monitor -- very fingerprint prone -- but this is something I was perfectly aware of going into the purchase. Finally, the keyboard is waaaay too small for me (11" hands) but perfect for my wife (lacks my gorilla sized hands).
- Other Thoughts: I got this for my wife because she didn't like using the HTPC for web browsing, e-mail, etc. Plus, it's going to be great to have that HDMI output so we can watch media off of it when we visit travel to folks that don't have HTPC's etc.
