Pros: Great machine in all ways

Cons: It stopped working after 14 months of ownership. Must pay $200 to get it fixed. Next time I get the extended warranty. System won't power up. Can't figure out how to take system apart. No help on Acer Support, youtube, web. Acer Support is a real pain. Going back and forth with them for over a month on this. Will not be buying one of their products again.

Pros: Purchased for mother in law... Great product for the price. Delivery was great... Thanks Newegg.

Cons: Speakers suck.

Pros: It's a good computer for the price. I picked it up for school use and I must say loads well and easily does any task I require it to.

Cons: Short Battery life and Speakers are on the quiet side. I'm too concerned with the latter as much as the former, but something I can easily take care of.

Pros: Its a really nice laptop and easier to manuvere around in and I like that it has the # keypad off to the right.

Cons: I already had to contact Acer support because when i tried to load a printer software on for my son, it said I needed an administrator password in order to proceed with the setup. So after trying what I could before I called, I got someone after a few minutes on hold and after she tried talking her way around the problem from turning off the computer to undoing the battery, she told me to go in the Acer recovery under programs and there again it asked for my administrator password. I cannot change anything on the machine or add software. Then the girl told me I had to call back in a week because they were out of stock with the Windows 7 Recovery CD. I told her they should not be since its a brand new spanken computer. I asked why the Recovery CD and she told me that it was not installed properly from the factory. Go figure my luck!!! But why should I have to call back in a week to see even if they have the CD available. That is alot of ya know!!!!! If they only would have done it right

Other Thoughts: Love the computer all in all for a teenager its great! But Acer Customer Service/Techincal Service needs alot of help.

Pros: Got it for my son,says he loves it.

Cons: No operating sys.disc.for reinstall,have to make your own,or buy from Acer for $20.00.

Pros: First off this is a low cost machine and my review is written with this in mind. The styling is nice and The Keyboard/ Number pad are placed nicely with plenty of realestate for my fat fingers. The Dou core and 4 gigs of RAM fly Windows 7 around faster than my Mac Pro runs OSX. The touch pad is good. The wireless is screaming fast and the screen is bright and very easy on my eyes.

Cons: Remember it is cheap. No Microphone? No DVI for a monitor? Only 2 usb's and no firewire, I did have to skinit because the glossy black showed every fingerprint.

Other Thoughts: If you have a limited budget buy one. If you have more cash buy 2. newegg got it to me in 1 day.

Pros: Cheap and fast. Under Windows 7 it scored 3.3 for gaming graphics, but processor was rated at 5.6. Screen is bright and looks great. Keyboard has a good feel. Great value!

Cons: Only 2Gb of memory, and apparently that is on 2 1Gb Dimms making it a little more awkward to upgrade. Touchpad isn't as slick as I like, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Bought and configured it for my elderly mom. I didn't even boot it up before I did a clean install of Windows 7 because I heard it had a lot of crapware. I had to call Microsoft to activate it (they wanted to confirm that I had only used the license key on one machine.) I never talked to a person, the automated phone call took less than 5 minutes and everything is working great now.

Pros: Cheap. Decent keyboard, screen, and speed for the price.

Cons: Screen isn't the highest quality (contrast is low).

Other Thoughts: Pretty decent looking laptop for the price. Bought for a relative and looks like it will fulfill basic computing just fine.

Pros: Zippy, comes with Windows 7, crapware removed easilly (aside from McAfee, but there's a tool on their website for that).

Cons: Not great for gaming. But that's not what this was purchased for, so that's not all that big a deal.

Other Thoughts: Not bought for me, but for a cousin who needed a cheapo laptop. This was definitely the one to go with.

Pros: Great Computer for the money.

Cons: Well besides not being dual core nothing.
