5 out of 5 eggsThank you acer!

Pros: Dual Core AMD CPU is great compared to the single core Intel Chip. It runs very fast for such a low power demanding cpu.

4 GB of ram is amazing and excellent for windows 7 x64, that's what this comes with.

250GB HDD is nice

ATI HD3200 has surprised me a bit. Believe me or not, This little computer was able to run crysis warhead (everything on low including lowest resolution) with playable fps!

XGP Slot! when they come out im going to be able to hook up a second Graphics card onto this for increased graphic technology.

Not hot on my lap!

Cons: Low CPU frequency, I'm a little bothered by it but not sure if its a problem. However it does suck up more Power than the Intel Chip. It wont play any of my 1080p files, some of my 720p it will.

Youll need a microfiber towel at all times because this thing picks up finger prints fast.

6 Cell battery kinda sucks, last about 2 and half hours or less. wish i had a 10cell.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very satisfied with this Netbook, I didn't purchase it here at newegg but at another computer electronics called F(blank)s. For the price you pay its very well worth it. i paid 599 plus tax. I also bought an extended warranty for it just in case. I cant tell you how much i love this netbook! Don't expect this to be a Gaming PC, I'm sure it will handle old games just fine, CPU intensive games will most likely lag in the lowest settings because of the slower netbook CPU performance.

Windows Experience:
Processor: 3.6
RAM: 4.9
Graphics: 3.3
Gaming Graphics 4.7
HDD: 5.9

Final Thought: If your thinking about spending 400 on a netbook. You might want to spend 200 more and get this thing, You wont regret it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty sweet

Pros: I have had this netbook for a few months now.. the system is really fast for a netbook, light, portable.. the 4gb of ram gives it that extra kick you need. Win7 is also pretty sweet, first system with win7.. coming from XP.

Cons: Keyboard is cheap.. the top right corner of the keyboard somewhat comes out from the laptop itself, there is a locking peg that fell out. My left ctrl key is already worn and doesn't click all the time unless you really press down on it; even after a thorough cleaning.

The plastic surrounding the screen is very cheap as well.. cleaning the finger prints off with a tshirt scratches the plastic.. and looks really bad in sunlight. Like everyone else said.. finger print magnet. HDD isn't the fastest on the market. Webcam is decent, sometimes comes out to dark

Other Thoughts: Overall a great system.. except for the chinsy-ness of the plastic. I use this system mainly for webbased (chat, browsing, ect.) Obviously won't run too many games, depending on what you are trying to play.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Netbook

Pros: This is the best Netbook on the market. i support many of them and this one is the only one i would take home.

Cons: only the well documented fingerprint issue.

Other Thoughts: I pulled the RAM and put 2 4GB dimms in. windows 7 screams with 8 GB of RAM. I agree with the earlier post about getting an SD card just for readyboost. i put a 4 GB class 10 card in and it made a huge difference.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat netbook

Pros: cool design, am using with 24 inch HP 1080p monitor its really awsome. Battery last long enough, fast connection of wireless lan, 64bit windows7-am using logitech wireless keyboard & mouse, samsung printer, samsung smart phone.....just plug in, thats all you need to do..

Cons: No bluetooth, no bluetooth it has bluetooth funktion key but no bluetooth......speaker sound too small you have to buy some bluetooth stereo headphone but no bluetooth no bluetooth...I don't like touch pad, Ferrari has good touchpad but I just don't like 'touch pad'itself so I need bluetooth mouse but no bluetooth no bluetooth...

Other Thoughts: it has cool design but yeah too much finger prints lol. and its not cheap and it is Ferrari, need kinda of pouch. it has cool design so it need some cool pouch I don't want cheap-looking-simple-black pouch.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: for what i need it for this netbook is just perfect, plenty of power! to get better than this youll have to spend thousands

Cons: its a fingerprint magnet, it doesnt have bluetooth and for this price it should, good thing Acer makes a reliable product as their tech support, if you can call them that, spoke with them a few times to get specs information and they all said it had bluetooth and even told me how to turn it on! well its blueetooth capable but it does not come with it, hence the 4 stars

Other Thoughts: do yourself a favor and buy an 8 gig sd card class 3 or better and activate readyboost, youll be glad you did!!

1 out of 5 eggsBOOTB round 3

Pros: None, haven't had a chance to use it in the month that I've owned it.

Cons: Received the unit back from repair - it wasn't repaired. Called support today (Saturday) - no one was available from level 2 or 3, have to call back Monday. It seems support doesn't listen to your explanation of the problem. The problem is when the unit is cold. 3/31 (Wed) I received the unit. Today (Sat) the problem reappeared.

Other Thoughts: Without going into a diatribe, I most likely won't buy another Acer computer; EVER. I can't even get this one fixed. Good support is indispensable. It's one of the main things that keeps me coming back. So far I haven't see it with Acer.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome - Grade A Netbook

Pros: 1. Screen is bright, clear, and vivid.

2. 4 gbs of memory is more than enough to handle 64-bit Windows 7 and any task this netbook can handle

3. Notebook is sexy and sleek...the red touch really makes it shine.

4. Radeon HD 3200 graphics is surprisingly powerful

5. (drum roll)!!!! dual core processor!!!...really takes the headaches out of multitasking.

6. XGP port for graphics expandability

7. Build quality is for the most part excellent.

8. Windows 7 is awesome too

9. Decent battery life considering all the atypical hardware this baby packs

Cons: 1. Keyboard build quality kinda sucks. Pressing a key in the middle will often make the entire keyboard sag just a little

2. The track-pad is an awkward trapezoidal shape and the finish material makes it hard to navigate compared to others

3. The processor clock speed is rather pathetic considering the systems overall potential and XGP expansion.

Other Thoughts: This little netbook is awesome. At first I was skeptical only because the processor clock speed, while it was a dual core (rare in a system this size), was only 1.2 GHz per core...But actually its not a big deal as I cant notice considerable performance hiccups unless im trying to push its limits. The only downside to having such a slow processor is its disability in modern games and processor intense programs. And the video core is just ok...still great for a system this size. And besides, it has an XGP port, which is a technology by ATI that allows you to hook up dedicated graphics to make it much faster.

So if you want a compact netbook but dont want the limitations that come with them, and is capable of casual gaming and productivity, this is a good choice.

If you want a system that can handle the latest greatest games and do intense CPU work, think again. The XGP port is great, but the relatively pathetic 1.2GHZ Processor speed makes it rather limited in this department.

2 out of 5 eggsBOOTB - round 2

Pros: Followup to BOOTB

Cons: A friend of mine purchased he Ferrari. I went over last Friday to set it up - booted it into the exact same problem as I had - wow! The display starts up with a dead display area (black vertical bar 2 inches wide with a couple of 1 pixel colored vertical lines) 2 inches from the side of the display (mine was from the left and his was from the rightt). What's weird is that once it warms up, and the display resets (as in a power save mode) it's fine. Let it cool down and the issue comes back. Mine actually progressed to 2 vertical dead areas in 3 days and 5 tech support.

Other Thoughts: Tried calling support today to find out the what the status was. She had no information, and said that I should call back Monday.

5 out of 5 eggsFerrari FO200

Pros: Fast little system. Not that much junk installed on receiving, easy cleanup. Bright screen. Easy to type on, not much of a difference from my last Acer. Windows 7 is actually pretty decent. I would actually consider purchasing it for my older laptop. Webcam is clear and fast. Very pleased with it.

Cons: Obviously the video card isn't anything special. Other than that--grade A system. I would suggest spending the extra bucks and get this flashy netbook

Other Thoughts: Purchased this system for my visit to Bahrain (military) for basic chat usage and video chat usage. Seems to be working pretty well.
