-Very good RAM
-Nice keyboard, spaced out keys. Better than most laptops where you are likely to make typos. It will also help you type faster.
-LCD screen is nicely designed. There are no black bars when you watch movies
-Nice smooth texture. There won't be smudges everywhere like most laptops.
-Nice hard drive with over 200 gigs of space.
-Comes with the all-new Windows 7 which is a big improvement from Windows 7.
-Nice speakers which deliver high quality sound.
-All new "Web Only" button. It launches the web when the computer is off. This is highly useful when you are in a hurry and need to check the weather, get directions, etc.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great computer and deal. It is great for business and entertainment. It is highly affordable, especially for a Sony Vaio.

Pros: Got this laptop on Black Friday; it was a killer deal. Fast, nice bright, wide screen, nice keyboard, looks good.

Cons: Full of software nobody wants. Win7 Home bl*ws chunks. Having had XP Home and XP Pro; I figured there would be as big a difference between Win7 Home and Win7 Pro; there is not. The two operating systems are almost the same so don't waste your time upgrading from Win7 Home to Win7 Pro. The CPU in this laptop does not support VT so one of the main features of Win7 Pro is worthless.

Other Thoughts: Good hardware; bogus software. I hope Win7 grows on me because I don't see any real improvement over XP Pro. Microsoft thinks computer users can't make their own decisions. Win7 is flash over function; I'm thinking it might be time for a Mac.

Pros: Fast

Cons: Doesnt even come with a disk for Windows 7, what the heck??? Too much bloatware!!! Can't reinstall windows 7 without a disk!

Pros: -Looks Amazing. much better in person.
-Large display, but not too heavy
-Plenty of ram & HDD space
-"web" button is a very nice touch, since 90% of the time the laptop is only being used for internet. It doesnt make sense to have everything running when you only need the web browser
-Super fast shipping, showed up 2 days early

Cons: -Bloatware!!! came pre loaded with junk, and doesnt come with a repair disc. Only comes with recovery partition, which reinstalls all the junk as well as the OS

Other Thoughts: This Laptop is fantastic, espicially since i got if at a steal on black friday. The case design is very nice. It has a small wave pattern, and not just plain black. It was also designed with simplicity in mind, and theres not a ton of stuff going on visually. Its a stealth laptop:)

Pros: A lot of for the price. Good looks and good hardware. The web button works great. Takes about 20 seconds to have a web browser without turning the laptop on.

Cons: saw it at Fry for the same price so it felt like a got an average deal, not a new egg price

Pros: Great laptop for the money. Runs cool which is unusual for a laptop, and this thing is also quiet. I got a laptop cooler with this but I hardly ever need it. The screen is high quality and looks sharp. Memory seems decent, HD is not bad.

Cons: BLOATWARE... this thing comes so bloated with useless programs that will eat memory and resources and cause your system to be slow to start up and shut down. I had to do a clean wipe and re-install Windows 7 to get rid of everything. All the Sony programs and garbage like Norton are very annoying and hard to uninstall. After I did a clean wipe this laptop starts up so much faster and is now free of all the bloatware.

The video card (or lack thereof) in this laptop is not very good, but that is what you get for this price range.

Other Thoughts: Sony is probably the worst when it comes to how bloated they make their computers, but a lot of other manufacturers do the same thing. I wish they did not do this, or at least include a Windows DVD so that it's easy to wipe clean for those who do not have an extra OS CD laying around. Luckily I had one and could just do a quick format and clean install.

Pros: very good looking, think & light, very easy to work, fast startup/shutdown, free 60 day trial for microsoft office.

Cons: no volume button, you gotta hold down the FN+F3/F4 to adjust the volume. Battery life isn't that great. it can last about 2 hours.

Other Thoughts: the laptop overall is great. I watch on my laptop regularly and it's great. the volume isn't that loud but its good enough. windows 7 is awesome. the only reason why i gave it 4 eggs is because there is no volume button and the low batter life.

Pros: A great basic laptop with room for lots of ram.

Cons: The trackpad freezes up for a few seconds every once in a while.

Other Thoughts: Considering the price, this is not a bad laptop.

Pros: Nice bright screen. \indows 7 was suprisingly smooth. So far, so good. A card reader was an unexpected suprise. It wasn't listed in the product specs.

Cons: Battery life is not as good as expected. Mouse sometimes freezes. Trail versions of the office and antivirus software that will cost the owner later.

Other Thoughts: I guess you get what you pay for. Expect to have to purchase or download additional software after the free trial versions end.
