Pros: Its a SONY I love SONY. Ive been on it for maybe an hour and Im in love. have yet to game on it but Im sure it will do some old games justice. Win7 seems beeter than vista which I liked vista. It all seems to be quality. Got it for 750
Cons: Freaking laptop stickers . I hate em I hate. This laptop for me left a horrible glue on the palm rest after I took the Intel sticker off. Took me an hour and rubbing alcohol to get it all off. It left some very very minor scratches. Stop with the stickers just give us the stickers and if we want we will put them on the thousands dollar laptops that we buy.
Other Thoughts: There was one review from a man that clearly did not buy his CW from newegg he most of been reviewing one with the 210m nvidea in it. I have yet to game on it but em sure that it will game better then his review.

Very pretty laptop, but lacking on the display

Pros: 1. This laptop comes with alot of software! 2. World of Warcraft runs very smoothly on max! No lag at all, even in Dalaran! The Nvidia 230M is stronger than the Nvidia 8600 GT. Make sure you get the 230M cause its 2x stronger than the 210M. 3. Very nice keyboard. It's quiet and taps nice. 4. Laptop is very fashionable. I've been waiting for a 14 incher with a good video card for a while now, and my wish came true! Previously, you had to get a 15 incher to get a decent video card like the 8600M GT. 5. Windows 7 loads pretty fast. I browse, surf and play video games, and everything runs smooth. 6. Cons: 1. Resolution too small, 1366x768. I scroll up/down too much. 2. Poor viewing angle. Everything is dark if not directly in front of laptop. Hard to watch movies for a group of 10 ppl, 10 feet away (when on a field trip). 3. You can scroll up and down if you move finger up and down on right side of touch pad, but I miss often, and move the mouse cursor instead. Also if you have two fingers (or one of your palm) on the touch pad, the mouse cursor wont move (annoying). But you can change the screen resolution with two fingers like on Apple's iPhone. 4. Gets pretty hot when gaming, so get a cooler. I have yet to get the Zalman NC-1000, very expensive but great reviews. 5. Glare is pretty bad. My eyes strain when there is light behind me (sun or florescent lights, glossy screen), and I'm trying to read (dark background) or watch (dark) movies. 6. Backlight is bad on all sony vaios (inspected others at sonystyle store), when screen is on (black background), it glows blue hue on e

6. The left and right button feel flimsy. Nice and solid feeling when pressing center part of button, and flimsy feeling when pressing the buttons from the edge (corners). 7. Keys on keyboard feels fragile, so I try not to abuse it.

Just picked up this laptop last week. I love newegg. Amazingly fast delivery (ordered Friday, received Monday!). I hated how they dont require signature, they just dropped it on the front door and left. What happen if I wasn't home! I'd be worried it'd be stolen. Last time I bought two 22" LCD monitors, they hid it behind the gates on the side of my house (go UPS!)
I know that there are alot of Cons, but I'm just a very picky guy. Dont let it scare you. It's still a good laptop and really fun to use. I have a power desktop but here I am, on my bed and on my laptop ^_^ Be sure to pick up a laptop lock for theft deterrent. I got Kensington Microsaver DS, but lock head is also flimsy

Pros: It's comfertable to type, light and dose evrything i need. Solid Works, works well enough ^^ major impruvment over my last one. Battery life on power saver mode, while typing reports and just basic serfing, no vids. is almost 4 hours long! wich really suprised me. was getting alittle over 2 hours 45 min while watching a mkv move, before it went to hybernate mode. verry quiet, and cool.
Cons: wish i noticed the one with blueRay player as well. but thats my fault for not looking more closly. people have noted the low view angle, but it dose not bother me. If i wanted to show a crowd somthing i'd just plug it into a TV or moniter, wich it handles nicely. for this price nothing else comes to mind.
Other Thoughts: well made and sturdy, i'm glad i was able to find it discounted for only 750!!! Thank new egg.
