5 out of 5 eggslove this 2 in 1

Pros: I bought the black 13in i5 4 meg 128 g ssd for a lower price, but it did not offer all the software as this model.
Battery life is amazing over 10 hours. Light below 3#s. I increased the ssd by buying a 128g memory card for less than $80. Super fast start up. I dont know why everyone dislikes ms8.1. To me it is just a skinned over Windows 7.
The slider is well built. I looked at the Viao Flip 13 with similar specs, cost more and shorter battery life, but I thought the flip screen was flimzy. Love the lighted keys.

Cons: Like everyone says in laptop mode the angle of the screen is fine on a table, but if you want to Skype the web cam aims for the ceiling. You need to prop up the back of the computer 1 inch or so to aim the web cam to your face. I can deal with that. I looked for a dooking station with power like the Targus 3.0 power dock, but I am told Targus does not make a power tip to fit this Sony computer.

Computer is hard to hold in your hands at this size or larger in Tablet mode. A 11 inch would be a better idea, but the older Sony Vaio Duo 11 got bad reviews so the redesign is this.

Other Thoughts: I like the computer and it really is well build. Sony will no longer make computers soon so this may be the last one.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphic Design Computer

Pros: I've had this computer for about a month now after selling my 27" iMac for something more portable. It runs Adobe CC very well as well. I'll have at least two applications open and running and I have yet to notice it slow down or anything.

I've also done some light tinkering with Blender 3D and the rendering time is pretty good.

Gaming is pretty solid for a non-gaming PC. I've played Borderlands and League of Legends on it and both have had around 40-50 FPS on higher graphics settings.

The Start up time/reboot time is amazingly fast. It takes less than 15 seconds to turn on and be ready to go.

The screen is also stunning. Great resolution, great viewing angles, really crisp. The tablet and touch abilities are also quite impressive. When using Sketchbook Pro the screen has around the same accuracy as my Wacom Cintiq.

Cons: There aren't many so I won't be as long-winded.

1. Photoshop doesn't support the pressure sensitivity of the pen yet so if you're going to draw, use Sketchbook Pro.
2. The screen is a tad slick for the tablet. There isn't much resistance when using the stylus so control your movements.
3. Dat SSD is tiny. I had to expand my cloud subscription to make up for files I couldn't keep on my computer.

Other Thoughts: All in all, the faults I found in the computer are ones that I can easily compensate for. I'm incredibly pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it to any artist looking for a light portable powerful computer.
