5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Nice feel in hand. Comfort and weight are very acceptable. No Wi-fi issues since the ICS update was pushed out. I love the new OS! It is the perfect size, a nice blend of the two predominant formats. The remote app and cradle are handy bonus features.

Cons: I haven't found a lot of reason to want to "throw" video yet. The DLNA streaming is limited in formats on the included app. BubbleUPnP (free) works very well though to stream most media formats.

5 out of 5 eggsSave Money and Get More

Pros: This thing is sweet and all the features work you just have to know what you are doing. Take a little time to get to know your new tablet. The best part about it I got mine from another company for $10.00 less and with free shipping.

Cons: Nonthing

Other Thoughts: Shop around and save money

4 out of 5 eggsSony tablet s.

Pros: Great looking, both in onscreen, and overall design. Android 3.2.1, and loads of great free apps. games look really good.

Cons: For me the major con with this tablet is it's lack of accesibility tools, you can't zoom in on the desktop, and app/widget icons. (like on the iPad 2) Some apps shut down while in use

Other Thoughts: Has a limited amount of draw backs, but what tablet doesn't? Compared to the so-called Titan iPad2, I think it holds it's own ground. For, it's not trying to be an "iPad" so it is carving it's own stomping ground in the tablet arena. ICD is coming, and I caan't wait to see what improvements that brings. I bought it, and I LOVE IT! I'd give it four and a half eggs, but that wasn't possible. Has tremendous room for growth, but in my opinion - and I''ve looked around extensively - it's not lacking much, to make it a good buy.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat choice if looking for an android tablet

Pros: This is a great choice for a consumer based tablet; the ergonomics and soft display are great for book reading and multimedia alike. Features, like the wedge shape design, integrated universal remote, and play station games really set it apart from others.

Cons: Limited apps; although Sony has some great ones, and new apps are available daily. SD card implementation is just dumb (Sony please fix this with a software update!). Plastic body does not feel as good as other tablets that use materials such as aluminum, although the build quality is still good.

Other Thoughts: I'm an Iphone user (which I love), but felt android was a better choice for a tablet because it will not limit me as much as IOS does. I love the simplicity of IOS in a phone, but I want to do more with my tablet, so I chose android.
Sony did a great job with the Tablet S, but there is still room for improvement (hopefully some of these will come in software updates). The SD card is almost worthless, which is really unacceptable. You can transfer files back and forth between the SD card and the tablet, but cannot access the files directly from the SD card?
The plastic body doesn't feel cheap, but just doesn't feel as good as other tablets that use premium materials. The integrated universal remote is a great feature, I just wish they would add macro support and the ability to organize the components based on the rooms in your home (bedroom, living room etc...). If Sony doesn't run with it, I'm sure someone will develop a third part app.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat remote software

Pros: Excellent universal remote software with configurable buttons and learning capability. System is light weight, ergonomically built for reading e-magazines and e-books as well as quite responsive and fast. System also has a FULL size SD card slot making storage expansion very easy.

Cons: Universal remote software needs macro support. Not sure if this is the case with other tablets, but the proprietary power connection gets an F from me. Why can't it charge via the micro USB, for which I have many cords, like my phone? I lose this cord and I'm out of luck and I'm sure Sony sells them for no less than $50.

Other Thoughts: I am in complete agreement with essentially the rest of the world when it comes to tablets, which is to get the price to < or = $350.

1 out of 5 eggsDay late and a dollar short

Pros: Full size SD card
Built in playstation emulator

Cons: 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera
small battery
small(er) screen
only 270* gravity

Other Thoughts: Even if the price were comparable I see no real reason to choose this tablet over any other 10 inch tablet.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - small screen (same resolution as other 10" tablet)
- tapered designto
- beautiful screen

Small screen makes more easier and comfortable to hold and operate, yet the resolution is same 1280 x 800 as the other 10 inch tablet. Also this leads to a higher pixel density producing beautiful image.

I was skeptical about this tapered design but if you actually hold this tablet it is actully nice. I don't know if I am making my self into believing but weight distribution of this tablet does make me feel if tablet is lighter than its actual weight.

Semi-customized skin is nice with simple customization. Galaxy tab's touch wiz skin was too much for my taste.

Cons: - sluggish performance
- no vibration feedback
- plastic construction feels cheap

Comparing to the Galaxy Tab 10" this Tablet S seems to be slower. All HC tablets are sluggish in some degree anyway but I do want more snappy response.

Not a biggy but this tablet lacks a vibration feedback feature. Not a necessity but would have been nice if they ame with it.

Also screen rotation is 3way only. If you turn the top of the tablet down, screen stays upside down...

Plastic construction is looks fine but if you actually hold it, it does feel cheap. Especially the silver painted section.

Other Thoughts: Overall very nice tablet. I really like the small screen with 1280 x 800 res. Hope sony will improve the performance and enable 4way screen rotation with a software update.
