Pros: Nice and smooth. Windows 8 has some nifty features. Good graphics.

Cons: Definitely not as fast as I've expected. Start up time is about 30seconds.

Other Thoughts: Vaios online customer service is fantastic.Definitely a good deal for what you are getting if you are getting it on newegg.com

Pros: i7 Processor, 7650m graphics, 1920x1080 resolution, 500gb hard drive, 6gb ram. This package is pretty quick out of the box. Keyboard keys have a good feel**

Cons: Built in hard drive is slow. **The way the keyboard is mounted, makes it give slightly (the whole keyboard) when typing, so it feel a little cheap. As mentioned in pros though, the keys themselves are great.

Other Thoughts: I replaced the hard drive with a SATA 6gb/s SSD. Huge difference! This machine is super fast now. Also, have changed out the RAM for a Crucial Vengeance 8gb kit. It boosted performance, but not as dramatically as the SSD did.

Pros: The hardware is beautiful no complains.

Cons: Windows 8 should not be on laptop, on phone fine, NOT on laptop. It made this laptop look like a toddler's play thing.

As if I need blocks of colorful apps to find my programs... 1st-grade?

I understand user friendly are important but this is just getting out of hand.

Pros: This is a great laptop. Awesome performance. High graphics. Everything you'd want from a newer laptop.

Cons: What made be deduct 2 stars from my rating is because of the fan. I had this laptop for only 2 days and out of nowhere it started to get really loud and my computer over heated. Luckily sony's for costumer service i'll be getting it repaired in two days.
