Pros: Love this unit. The battery time is great, as others have noted. Speakers are fine for general use, as far as I'm concerned. We have a nice laptop, but I prefer the Samsung. XP works quickly enough for me, with 1 Gb of memory, though I'll upgrade soon to 2 Gb, just because it can be done. The wireless card has worked nicely, too. I have no regrets about this purchase and have recommended it to my teammates at work.

Cons: Glossy finish screen. Matte would be better; but I knew this from the reviews I read before I purchased it.

Pros: This is a great netbook. I had a Acer Aspire one that I liked quite a bit, but the keyboard was just too small and the touchpad was too tiny with the buttons on the side instead of the bottom, very frustrating. I've installed Win 7 home premium and a 2 gb memory upgrade and it flat out rocks!! The keyboard is phenominal and is a huge improvement over most of the netbooks I've seen. The touchpad works great and I really like the scrolling and buttons on it, the single button instead of a seperate left\right works great. The bluetooth is also a great feature, I got a bluetooth mouse so I don't have to use one of the usb ports for a dongle. I also love the outside finish, the black matte is professional looking and doesn't smudge and collect finger prints the way the Acer did. The speakers are good, nothing special but you can at least watch a movie on it without needing headphones but don't expect a lot from them.

Cons: The only real complaint I have is with the screen, the glare can be a bit much at times. The only other complaint I have is more of a nit, the usb ports on the left are too low, if you use a USB drive it's easy to move your hand over it and break it.

Other Thoughts: For those complaining of a lack of a DVD drive, there's a simple solution that will work most of the time. Down load and install a DVD emulator like Daemon tools (free!!) and on another system, but the CD or DVD to an .iso file and then copy it to a usb drive and mount it on Daemon tools. As long as you don't need to boot from it, it works great.

Pros: This is a great netbook. It has a long battery life, I average about 6 hours with wireless internet on and full screen brightness. The speakers also have decent sound. My main reason for purchasing this netbook was the keyboard, which is larger than most netbooks and accommodates prolonged typing. I take this product with me everywhere I go, and would recommended to anyone looking to buy a netbook.
