Bought a replacement battery for $25. - Hate the hard buttons on the bottom of the device. Wish it were soft buttons that will appear and disappear based on apps. I wanted the Galaxy Tab II and I was surpised to see the Tab. Not only that but it worked for only a few hours then it wouldn't turn back on. When I looked up this version of the Tab I found that this is a reoccuring problem. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Beautiful display Button location I'll add why later Features There are 3G versions availible here in japan and i bet the states has them also. Cons:* People saying that they were tricked because this is a wifi only device...I don't see cell or 3G listed anywhere in the add. Sometimes, it can get bogged down, especially when playing anything above SD video. I am sure there is a way to recompress HD video in a way that it would look and play great but I was having trouble at the tablets res. Also the headphone jack on this sucks... I don't know whats going on but on this one and the newer 7 plus i bought, the volume is really low Other Thoughts: At the end of the day this device is a great investment. I bought it, added a 32GB micro SD (eat that APPLE) and cramed it full to the brim of TV shows. I am stationed on a ship and this allows me to stick it to the roof of my bed. Also, because of the small size, its very portable. To the person who says the GPS isn't work, google maps needs a network connection to download the maps. Cons: Screen is a bit small for viewing websites without a mobile version. But @ 7", it's portable without a carrying case (fits into cargo pants pocket). Charges fast and holds that charge for a super long time. Slick interface. Beats an Ipad any day. Cons: Do not get if you want for a phone as as well. Its WiFi only. It boggles my mind why they would even sell one of these things without phone functionality. This technology has so much potential and to deny it that is akin to science denial. Pros: -Great display with amazing viewing angles. - graphics are nice on all game tried - battery pretty good - sound is nice and loud Cons: - sometimes slow loading but not too bad - gets "slightly" hot with extended use if its laying flat on bed or something but that's not uncommon. Other Thoughts: I got this for my 9 year old when i saw refurbished price & it works great! It is way better than the dell streak 7 I got. The display is really beautiful and I love the white back. Cons: Does not appear as though the battery can be changed. Would like to be able to do that.
