Other Thoughts: If it was not for XDA Developers I would give this tab a 2 star rating. Stock ROM was jerky and bloated. Now that I rooted it and loaded a custom ROM I love it! Runs much smother and faster with Jellybean

Pros: Solid Construction

Cons: Tablet Unstable & Crashes often
Tablet Restart Often
Tablet Scrolling is Jumpy
Tablet Performance is very inconsistent

Other Thoughts: Avoid this Tablet as it is known for having issue's. It is very unstable, Crashed often and mine just died entirely and I barely used it in the first place because it was so problematic.

I purchased this model from another site as a gift for my wife and it's been nothing but a nightmare. When I contact Samsung to get this issue addressed as it was under their warranty. I was welcomed to customer service hell. It took 3 weeks for Samsung to get the receipt after sending it. attaching it to their support ticket 3 times. They generated 2 tickets which caused mass confusion for them. 4 Phone calls, 5 Chat's they send us a UPC code. Now the tablet is in their hands. They lost the receipt again.

Samsung customer care has been the worst experience in customer service that I have ever experienced in my life.

Never buying another product from them.

Pros: Good idea and it looks nice.

Cons: Its slow and often becomes unresponsive. Scrolling is jumpy and over all its hard to use. It has missed the last 2 major android releases.

Other Thoughts: Picked up one of these to test app that I write. This device is so bad I decided not to bother porting my iOS apps over to android.

Pros: I bought this tablet to replace an old laptop that I use for travel, and can't believe it took this long to do so. What a great tablet! For those who enjoy hacking these android devices you'll have a lot of fun with this one. The delivery was very quick (took three days) and the cost was right at my price point. There were no flaws in any way. Mint condition device - no dead pixels, all components working and even came with a 95% charge so I could play with it right away. The screen is beautiful and the 3D rendering is great. Additionally, the design of the actual device is sleek and just pretty. Kind of hard to hold with my big fingers, but it does look awesome.

Cons: My only complaint is with Samsung - give us ICS already!! I'm running a ported ICS on it at the moment which doesn't have any camera support (not a problem if you run the stock OS).

Other Thoughts: The one thing I didn't realize was that the tablet uses a proprietary connector with a USB at the other end. I'm not sure why they didn't go with microUSB like all my other Samsung/mobile devices. It just means that if I lose this cable I have to go buy another instead of using one of my ten other microUSB cables. Minor irritation really.

Pros: Tablet works as expected, recertified is just as good as new.

Cons: Had an issue where it went to sleep and the screen wouldnt wake up. This is a know issue that sometimes happens. Held the power button while tapping the screen for up to 30 seconds and it came out of it. Not a big deal in my opinion and all Droid tablets have some little bugs like this.

Pros: Specs on paper.

Cons: Freezes, random reboot, laggy.

First one had problems, returned to Newegg for exchange. Second one had more problems than the first, and had to RMA with Samsung. The third one still has problems.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to support Samsung, and support a tablet that was not an iPad, but it was a mistake. I'm no Apple fan, but they have the market cornered. I really wanted to like the Galaxy, but the constant freezing and restarts were too much. I tried FW updates, etc., to no avail... Samsung makes nice looking devices, but ppl that own Galaxy phones also complain ho bad they are, and the tablet isn't any better. Shame on you Samsung for charging so much money for a device that doesn't perform.

I had to write a review on the recertified model since Newegg doesn't sell the new ones any more. I wonder why....

Pros: I just got this hooked up and it works really great! It switches fast and doesn't require any software. It works with any mouse or keyboard supported by your OS. A really great buy!

Other Thoughts: Newegg's shipping is amazing!! I ordered this and a NIC on Monday at around 11am, this was sitting on my door step the next day at 2pm. Doesn't get any faster than that :)

Pros: Everything looks and works like new except for the Accelerometer.

Cons: Accelerometer is broken so if you are playing a game that uses it you have to hold it slightly at an angle for it to register as being level.

Tried multiple apps including temple run, bubble level, and accelerometer test. It is only off by a few degrees but it's enough to ruin the experience.

Pros: Great device, I'm told, when purchased new.

Cons: First Device: Dead Pixels & Video replay Artifacts; Second Device: Newton's Ring

Other Thoughts: I have received delivery of two of these devices (first was RMA'd, I have just requested a full refund request on second) - both Tablets I received were substandard and contain problems that are unacceptable (even for a refurb). My advice: purchase new, and don't waster your time with a refurb - or seek a competitor's device (also on Newegg) that has greater specs for same $.
