4 out of 5 eggsSamsung Series 9 NP900X3B

Pros: Slim design
Very light
Convenient SD slot
SSD - Extremely fast boot time ~10 seconds
Multi-touch gestures

Cons: Glitchy touchpad
Some bloatware warnings for installation of programs I have no idea what for.
Keyboard takes time getting used too.
USB 3.0 is extremely close to the power input charger. (I have an ADATA S102 USB 3.0 Flash that fits with the power plugged in.)
Difficult to upgrade.
I wish for more battery life (5-6 hours)

Other Thoughts: I got a SUMMERPC deal from the Microsoft Store which brought this pc down to $780. Otherwise, this is an expensive PC that isn't worth it.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks Nice, but Very Glitchy

Pros: Nice Screen resolution, overall look is wonderful, backlit keys, decent battery life (2.5hrs - 3.5hrs web browsing and word processing)

Cons: Very dissatisfied with the laptop. The internet is very slow on public WiFi. Friends with older laptops quickly websurf on the same network at my local Starbucks. I often have problems reconnecting, sometimes having to restart the computer. Firefox crashes sometimes several times in a row.
Unfortunately, surfing the web is worsened by the finnicky touchpad. Simply dragging your finger across the touchpad will simultaneously select and highlight everything you run your mouse cursor over. It's especially annoying when you're trying to click "submit" or "login" buttons. It took six tries to select the "1 egg" rating just now, even as I clicked the touchpad's left-click button area (seamlessly part of the touchpad). I press the "Esc" button often to effectively deselect many scrollbars and buttons.
Samsung's included Easy Software Manager is also unreliable. I've only attempted to install the hardware and important software updates, but several of them continually fail.

Other Thoughts: Paid roughly $1400. Didn't expect the computer to be so problematic or that much money. I thought many of these issues were glitches that would be solved with software updates and maintenance, but they've remained and have increasingly frustrated me over time. It can take me as long as ten minutes to successfully pay a utility bill online because of the slow internet speed, browser crashes, accidental "clicks" on buttons before filling out information, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it over an Air for Windows Fans

Pros: Great Screen, can't say this enough. Bad screens were the downfall of every Ultrabook like laptop I looked at. Bought this without being able to see it in person, but sitting next to my roommates 13" Air it is as good if not better straight on, and viewing angles are very good. AND ITS NOT GLOSSY!

Build quality is as good as Apple, simple as that.

Touchpad, nice all glass number, works very well for a windows 7 system.

Backlit keyboard, nice greenish glow, not as bright as on the Air or my Alienware m15x, but I pefer it to be honest.

Cons: Keyboard is not as good as the air, keys feel very good but there is little travel and a kinda "cheap" noise when you click on them.

No micro hdmi or VGA adapter in box, only network adapter.

Other Thoughts: This is the best laptop with windows that I have ever used hands down. It was bettween this and putting windows on a Air.

Its Blue from some angles, oh
