Pros: Great laptop worked as it should

Cons: The charger went out at 15 months and Samsung wanted to charge me $128 for a new......As if the $1900 i payed for this thing wasn't enough

Other Thoughts: This charger is a 200 wat charger so i could not find a universal one just had to buck up and pay for another one

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming laptop

Pros: Delivers on everything promised, gets great frame rate no lag in every game I throw at it (BF3, WoW, etc), runs games in highest graphics with no lag, one of the fastest startup times I've ever experienced in any computer, great resolution and display on monitor.

Cons: Gets pretty hot as many on here have stated, weight is a little much but is to be expected with a 17 inch super-laptop. Main con is this laptop can get very hot, as it's hard for regular fans to cool this big boy down.

Other Thoughts: The pros vastly outweigh the cons for the pricetag. This laptop can hang with other laptops that are selling for over 2000. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, I'd go with this one.

3 out of 5 eggsNot clearly advertised, but a good product.

Pros: Fast booting time, great layout, multiple features.

Cons: This product has TWO 750GB HDD's, not one 1.5TB HDD. The second hard drive bay is not available for use, due to the other 750GB HDD taing it's place. If you want to install a SSD, you will have to lose 750GB worth of storage.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent powerhouse laptop computer

Pros: The thing is a beast on graming graphics. Set to game mode and you will be getting 60fps+ on any game highest setting. It is nice to be able to dial it back in green mode for things like wordprocessing or surfing, which will get you 3 hours of battery life approximately. Screen is big and easy on the eyes. I bought this from another vendor for the office (newegg was having trouble on checkout, they called me the next day but I'd already gone to a local merchant to pick it up) and I plan on buying another.

Cons: The mousepad is inexcusably bad, and merits knocking off an egg from what is otherwise a marvelous laptop. The mousepad is positioned in a manner so that your left hand covers a lot of it while using the wasd keys, which for a gaming laptop should have been better planned. Also, the mousepad buttons are recessed below the level of the case. So with your hand resting on the case using the mousepad, you have to elevate your hand unnaturally to get the keys to click, otherwise you are just going to be clicking on the case and not the buttons. I bought a bluetooth mouse within a week. I cannot stress just how bad the mousepad is, in an $1,800 computer it should be functional. But this is the only knock I have against what is otherwise an excellent computer.

Other Thoughts: buying maximum accident coverage on this should be a no-brainer.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeechless

Pros: Remarkable computer. Specs easily measure up to Desktop PC standards for gaming and the software that comes with it is rather helpful as well. Speeds through everything and can easily run three games at once (tested D3, Skyrim and New Vegas).

Cons: None that is specific to this computer.

1 out of 5 eggsNo WiDi Feature on this Laptop

Pros: Nice screen, great performance and great stats for the price.

Cons: The reason I bought this laptop is because I want to watch online content on my big, LCD, LED TV using the WiDi (wireless Display) feature. After a long search for the program or switch that enables the WiDI I decided to contact Samsung tech support and I was told by Samsung tech support that the feature was a mis-print and that the NP700G7C-S01US laptop does not support the WiDi feature.

Other Thoughts: I will be returning the item and buying a laptop that actually has the features that it claims that it has and not falsely advertise features that are not on the product as with the WiDi feature that is falsely represented on this product.

1 out of 5 eggsterrible newegg service

Pros: None. laptop arrived with a broken key. Newegg agreed to rma it and had me ship it back to themfor a replacement. I waited 2 weeks to get the same broken laptop back from them. When I called they then said they would not rma it and to call Samsung. I have spent over 25k with Newegg over the past 3 years and I told them this would lose them a customer. They simply did not care.

Cons: I am not sure why companies feel it is ok to take money and not stand behind their product but this absolutely made me sick. I will never buy another product from Newegg again

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this laptop or give Newegg your business.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop but wireless display doesn't work

Pros: Great graphics and gaming machine.

Cons: I love pretty much everything about this laptop with one or two exceptions, one of them glaring. This model is advertised as Intel Wireless Display capable but nowhere can you find how to enable it. I've contacted Samsung's customer support twice and been told they'd get an answer to me within two days on both occasions. They never contacted me and I still cannot use Wi-Di. If you intend to use this laptop to display on a Wi-Di connected device I would look for some other brand before buying one from Samsung.

5 out of 5 eggsPrrrreettttty sweeet

Pros: This computer is sexy. It looks great and has a fantastic screen. It runs everything i throw at it on high settings including bf 3. Great desktop replacement thats portable. Its well built. Nothing flimsy on it.

Cons: The power brick is large and sticks straight out of the computer. No raid 0 config.

Other Thoughts: This thing looks great. It lights up beautifully in game mode. The mode switch is nifty and helpful. Speakers sound great.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Power, for a Price

Pros: This laptop beats most any desktop you could find. While plugged into AC power, it plays skyrim on ultra high with no lag, and the loadings screens go so fast I can't read any of it! Minecraft on max settings runs like a simple word document! Unplugged you can see some performance decreases, skyrim works better on just high quality, and minecraft might lag after shooting the 100th arrow out of a dispenser, but it still beats most anything I've worked with.

Cons: The only issues I had were justifying the price and having the strength to move this thing one handed (only joking). It weights a little more then the average laptop, but seems to run cooler, and I honestly don't might the extra weight unless I'm trying to ship positions with it, then it gets a bit awkward. As far as the price, if you can save the money and go with lesser power, you might want to, very few applications require this kind of performance.

Other Thoughts: If you have the money to spend, and you want a beast of a computer, this is your kind of laptop. I love everything about it so far, samsung is very good with the warranty stuff, and they have updates for everything already (the other reviews seem kind of old there) Their support seems very good and my only issue was the AC adapter died, due to a power surge, and samsung was very good about replacing it.

Every computer has its ups and downs, but this one is the best package I've seen to date.
