Pros: speakers are pretty good and screens has vibrant colors along with the touch response is good. Weight is ok but can get a little heavy after prolonged usage

Cons: I experience a little micro stutter when scrolling through pages. I don't know if they is because the size of the screen vs the performance of the SoC or not. That is why i deducted 1 egg from the rating. Weight is ok but can get a little heavy after prolonged usage.

Pros: This is a Terrific Tablet !!! Does Everything !!! I had and sold the terrible Kindle HD 8.9 piece of junk. There is no comparison ... This Samsung is GREAT !!!

Cons: None Whatsoever !!!!

Pros: Fast quad core processor. bright display, light weight, and the touch screen is very responsive and maybe just a bit sensitive.

Cons: Proprietary connection. No USB plug in.

Other Thoughts: I bought this instead of the iPad because frankly I think its a better value. The iPad is a good product but the difference in price/features, IMO, isn't enough to sway me to Apple.

Pros: Excellent sound quality when using headphones—also good from speakers. It seemed to improve a bit with the upgrade from Android 4.0 to 4.1. Samsung must have improved a driver.

Android 4.1 improved this thing. A benchmark shot up nearly 50%—if I remember the previous score from 4.0 properly.

It's very fast and is does far better with multitasking than my phone. It has 2 GB of memory, which rarely fills up more than half.

Easily rootable.

Great battery life. After charging, I was listening to music on it for at least two hours. Afterward, it said the battery was 99% full. It was very suprising because my phone would be at 50% or less after that.

Cons: Mentioning a specific directory should say enough: /data/clipboard. I don't know why Samsung insists on adding this to Android. It stores everything you copy to the clipboard: passwords, etc. Its purpose is to allow multiple copying and pasting at once. If deleted or restricted, the clipboard stops working. I couldn't find a better firmware for this tablet, so I have to put up with this. At least I've encrypted my 'userdata' partition.

Samsung's TouchWiz interface isn't that good, but many alternatives can be downloaded.

Other Thoughts: If it has Android 4.0, upgrade to 4.1 as soon as possible. It's definitely worth it!

Pros: I bought the Note for school from a box store because I didn't want to wait. I use it to take notes and read books. It's perfect for what I needed. It has multiple extra features that are just perks. To me it was worth the additional funds to get the pen. It reads my handwriting extremely well (better than my wife). I've only had it for a week but so far I really like it. My last two tablets were a Nook Color and a Galaxy Tab 7". I can't really compare it to those for size, resolution or speed. I don't own an I-Pad so I can't speak to those comments that the I-Pad screen is better but the Note's screen look fantastic. Online material looks great on here and the screen transitions are very fast.

Cons: Price... The Note is pricier than its competitors. I don't like having the Samsung charger but I understand to charge a device this large a micro USB wouldn't do.

Other Thoughts: I'll update my post if I discover anything important that I love or hate.

Pros: Fast, responsive, screen is very bright. The smart remote app is VERY cool. I have a Logitech 880 universal remote and I thought it was just the coolest thing. Instead of giving you a channel listing, it gives you a listing of shows according to the cable/satellite provider in your area and changes the channel for you.

Cons: The smart remote app was a pain to set up. It doesn't allow for much customization of how you have your entertainment system set up, so for that reason we'll only use it when watching TV, not movies. Some apps were not made for screens this big so some are very grainy, this is more of a con with the apps themselves rather than the tablet, so just be aware. Battery life is short and charge times are LONG. So keep it plugged in whenever you can get away with it.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps not worth the $499 price tag, but close. We just wanted to buy a nice one so we wouldn't have to feel like we have to upgrade for a while.

Pros: Too many to list but I'll give it a try. 1. Voice typing, forms, tweets, docs, etc.. 2. Multiple input/output sharing capabilities. 2. Capable of real production. 3. At shopping and multiple stores opposed to one ecosystem. 4. Onboard storage micro sd. 5. Advance designing capabilities- 3D, type design, illustration & photography. 6. Stylish, light weight & quick. No lag.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is the one to beat. A HD display with only the ability to consume is not a tablet benchmark. Onboard stiorage, feature rich, multitasking production tool is what all tablets should be. If all your tablet has to offer is quick pinch to zoom, swiping back and forth or the ability to open a webpage fast; you have just wasted money on a toy. This tab is quick, with a good display & you can produceart documents to spreadsheets and anything in between.

Pros: Multiscreen is absolutely awesome. being able to go through pdfs of practice tests and highlight areas in the book for some of my tech certs is a huge plus for me. Have messed around with PS touch and seems cool to have included with the tablet. S Pen is alot more responsive than i thought the stylus would be. Quick as well which im sure is helped by the 2 GB of RAM.

Cons: Have not found any as of yet. Ownership is only 2 days total though so plenty of time for change.

Other Thoughts: 2GB of RAM has come in handy for me but might not be quite needed unless you are planning on taking full advantage of the multiscreen capabilities. if you arent going to heavily use multiple apps and tax system resources..(and wont use S Pen). would take a look at ASUS transformer series of even previous Galaxy Tablet with only 1 GB of RAM since they are more affordable.

Pros: It has amazing power, great pen functionality, great everything. I can't name everything good about it!

Cons: Plastic should have been aluminum.

Other Thoughts: Everyone that complains about the screen, listen up. WACOM made the pen digitizer. Wacom digitizers cannot support resolutions over 1280 x 960 at 10 inches in size. The display is exactly what it needs to be.

Pros: This thing is wicked fast. Switching from screen to screen is very smooth, due in large part to Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). The included S Note makes this tablet worth every penny. Apple has nothing like it. Best audio output of any tablet I've seen thus far. On board MicroSDHC slot supports up to 32GB cards. Battery life is much better than my Galaxy Tab 10.1. This is one of the few tablets that supports BOTH 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands for WiFi, so 802.11n has less interference problems.

Cons: It's a little heavier than my Galaxy Tab 10.1. The display is not in the same class as the iPad 3 Retina display, but still excellent. These are not really 'Cons' per se, but worth mentioning nonetheless.

Other Thoughts: Belkin makes a really nice leather cover for this model. If you have an Android phone, get FoxFi to share your smartphone's Internet connection with this via either WiFi or Bluetooth, and no Hotspot plan is required. I've been waiting for this since I first saw it displayed at MWC back in January 2012 and it does NOT disappoint. I agree with other reviewer, not worth $50 more for 32GB unit when you can add a 32GB MicroSDHC card for less than half that price.
