Pros: The standard stuff

Cons: Problems connecting to some WiFi.

Other Thoughts: Bought for my girlfriend. For the most part she is happy with it and can do most things herself, however after connecting the first time to her home Belkin N WiFi, it had problems connecting to her home WiFi after that. Works fine everywhere else, just can't use it at home. No other device has problems hooking into this router.

Pros: Not a bad device as long as you don't need much, never drop it, and generally don't expect to much from it.

Cons: Actually only has roughly 4.5 GB of memory for installing apps.

You might be able to install apps on as added SSD Card, but at this point I am unwilling to spend another $18 to find out. Samsung said I would be able to move apps to the SSD card after installing to local storage.

It comes with a cover, but sitting down reading, my son bumped my arm and I dropped it. It fell less than 3 feet, and even with the case on, the screen is now cracked.

With the screen cracked Newegg won't do anything, which is a shame, they used to be a place to help a guy out. Since the screen is obviously my fault from recklessly reading while sitting in a chair in my living room, it is damaged and the only thing Samsung can do is send me to the repair dept to see how much it will cost to repair. Out of frustration I told him I have already spent $219 on this device, I believe it is time to cut my losses and hung up .

Other Thoughts: It seems the physical damage card is being taken advantage of for building an inferior product.

Pros: Style - my daughter loves it; nice screen; unobtrusive case folds back nicely

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I got this instead of the less expensive tablet w/o case running 4.0 - also, came with free headset and 16 GB, nice combo

Very complete for use of apps.. lower cost devices often don't support all this

Cons: Proprietary Samsung cable.. instead of standard USB plug on device
The really cool red case that comes with the really cool red tablet blocks the IR blaster feature.. guess who ever they outsourced the case to didn't notice the little window for the IR.
No official FlashPlayer now.. so not all websites will play video.. be careful of Apps saying they will help you get Flash player.. some of them are trojans.

Other Thoughts: Its my first Android device...
Don't like it as much as my Windows Phone UI.. seems OLD and combersom but I like the Access to the android apps for now. In a a year I expect I will replace it with a Windows RT tablet. after the stupid APP developers figure out the market changes..

Pros: *Very well made. *Very solid built. *Light. *Perfect matching cover. *Very pretty. *Pretty fast. *Can do almost evereything that an iPad would. *Great value-half the price of a similar iPad. *Android 4.1.1 OS is easy to use. *Micro SD card slot for storage expansion. *Can connect with PC to transfer files.

Cons: Not many cons....only that I had to make few setting adjustments to make it the way I like it.

Other Thoughts: I have an Acer Iconic Tab 10.1", with Android 4.0 OS, which I like very much. But, my wife conplaints it's too big/heavy to carry around. So, I got this one for her to use...I believe I made a good choice! I think Android 4.1 is an improvement (to use) in comparison to 4.0 although, not much difference in interface. I downloaded few free apps that can make the operations easier and faster. Also, disabled few pre-installed apps that I would never use. Although there is no USB port, but the included USB charging cable can be connected to the PC to transfer videos/photos/docs onto the external SD card which was included in this deal. I also bought an external USB port (for $1.88 online) that can be plugged into the 30-pin port, just in case..... Everything just works great so far!

Pros: Tablet feels very solid and well built. The screen looks great and has quick response. Android 4.1 works well. Garnet red color looks great. Included cover fits perfectly. WIFI connected immediately. Speakers are surprising loud for size. micro sd installed without any problems.

Cons: maybe I haven't found it yet, but there doesnt seem to be a sleep function
Doesnt appear that I can use amason (i know its misspelled) prime streaming videos

Other Thoughts: This is my first tablet, although I have used numerous ipads. Overall I am very happy with it. I am new to android so still figuring out all of the features. Tablet seems like a steal at around $200 compared to the others that i have looked at. I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to ipad mini.

Pros: I picked this up from a different vender. The Garnet red with case comes with Jelly Bean, not ice cream sandwich. I feel that as Android progresses with each iteration the system becomes more stable. (At least I am hoping) Expansion slot up to 32gb for music, pictures, etc. The sound quality on the external speakers is pretty good for a tablet.

Cons: Only 8 gigs of internal memory half of which is taken up by the operating system. And with Jelly Bean there is no way to move apps to an external card. Still I have installed probably between 50 and 100 apps and still have room left. It's a good thing apps are small. Also when there is an alert and the system sounds are turned up the alerts go through the external speaker even when the headphones are plugged in. This is annoying to everyone around me. I finally just turned off the system sounds. There is also some lag when scrolling through my hundreds of apps on the cloud. I have gotten the free app of the day ffrom an app store for over a year now, of course I don't always download and install them!

Other Thoughts: Despite the drawbacks, this is a nice machine and I am very happy with it. The color and case are very attractive. The case is nothing fancy, but it does the job and it matches the Galaxy. I would say all in all it is a very sexy product and I am proud to own a Tab 2.
