Pros: -Super light
-Full HD
-Great battery
-Typing is easy and fast

Cons: -really nitpicking but the box it came in was HUGE
-even at the fastest setting, the mouse speed isnt very fast
-this maybe a ChromeOS issue but the resolution is ether too small or too big

Pros: Love the bigger screen and quicker response with my Chromebook 2. The 4GB memory does make a difference, too. Had a Samsung 11.6-inch previously with 2GB. Haven't put too many of the other features to work, but it seems to be going just fine a little over a month in to the new gizmo.

Cons: Glitch encountered with refurbished machine on Chromecast. It took a restore to original condition to get over a glitch that would not allow downloading of the cast extension from the Chrome Web Store. I called Google support and none of the staff offered anything that worked. We went in circles for a while before I asked about the restore or reset option. Since I hadn't tweaked the machine a whole lot before encountering the casting issue, it wasn't much of a problem to just start over. The only other con"" I noticed was disqualification from the 100 GB free online storage for 2 years because it was a refurbished machine. It is listed in the fine print, but I got it with my previous Chromebook, which was a return. Apparently the first owner hadn't activated the storage deal on the old one.

Other Thoughts: Detractors of the Chromebook should research in advance what they are getting if they switch from a "traditional" laptop. I hope Google continues to support the Chromebook as the Chrome OS becomes Android centric. It would be nice to just be able to go to the Google Playstore for apps, extensions and widgets on the Chromebook and my other Android devices, rather than trying to match capabilities of things from the Chrome Web Store with the Playstore. If Google abandons the Chromebook, I'll have another option, running Linux. Hopefully, that won't be necessary. PLEASE, GOOGLE.

Pros: 1) Lightweight
2) Easy to Use
3) Sleek design
4) Minimalist UI reduces on-screen clutter
5) Quick Charging, long (8-9 hours) battery life. Easy access

Cons: 1) Initial boot-up and first time use is slow, since the computer is installing all of your extensions and Google Apps
2) Wifi connection isn't always stable (but to be fair, this may also be an issue with my router)
3) The refurbished price wasn't much lower than the new price offered directly by the website.

Other Thoughts: Considering this is refurbished, I'm really loving this computer. I exclusively use it for word documents and internet browsing (to limit distractions). The lack of bloatware or other common issues with other operating systems means a quick start up, but your performance will be more dependent on your bandwidth than your memory.

Pros: 1. Works well with Google Apps

Cons: 1. Randomly makes irritating noises.
2. Has problems running apps not made by Google.
3. Processor does not run at advertised speed.
4. Randomly reboots.
5. Sometimes even Google Apps have to be reinstalled.

Other Thoughts: I bought some other items from Newegg and I love them, but this Chromebook leaves me feeling sick.
