Who said that you get what you pay for? Lenovo will fix his wagon! The 3000 N series has the features you want, but the price tag remains light. Starting with a bright expansive 15.4" WSXGA+ monitor backed by an NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 7300 graphics card, users might need to be careful to avoid being sucked into this multimedia experience. The dual layer DVD burner will use that screen to good effect as it plays your movies and music CD's, or video games and office suites.

Don't think of this as just another glorified portable DVD player. This system brings home the goods with 1GB of DDR2 memory just like the big kids. The 2.0GHz processor can cope with even the most demanding user's needs. Let us not forget the 120 GB storage capacity stuffed into its compact case. With that kind of storage, you need the integrated fingerprint reader to protect all that precious information.

Try figuring out how they put all these amazing features into the 3000N and still make a profit. It’s uncanny!

Pros: Has lots of nice features Including an sd card reader that wasnt mentioned. Processor Nice and fast though as a precaution I got another 1 gig stick to top it off. The wireless connection goes fast and has hit 200+mb with draft n router. The fingerprint reader works well for me and took only a few swipes of the finger to recognize me.(though it took an older member of my family a few more try then me to get it to recognize her) ;)

Cons: Mostly vista fighting over wireless settings (i ended up having windows do wireless) . The case is shiny enough it had visible dust after sitting on my desk shortly.
Other note is the wireless "switch" is a little stubby and made a tad inconvenience turning on and off and my problemize people with weak or large fingers.(there is a 'fn' key shortcut so once its on you can switch on either way.

Other Thoughts: For the weight, Its light so good to travel. simple to set up but with vista but theres so many little thing to explore and some thing that will hopefully fix soon like with older games .
