Pros: A light weight contender for anyone thinking about a netbook but would like a little extra power behind it. HDMI port is nice.
Cons: I miss the thumb ball thing in the middle of the keyboard. I guess I got used to it. The right shift key was also shortened and I find that a bit of an inconvenience as it's the one I always use. Minor items for most and probably not uncommon with laptops.
Other Thoughts: Can't think of any at the moment. Its not a bleeding edge gaming machine but I have a desktop for that. It comes preloaded with a lot of trial software that I had to spend some time uninstalling but it wasn't too bad doing it from the control panel.

Perfect size, ideal for web & multimedia playback.

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: - Ideal size and weight. Functionality of a full-size laptop with the weight of a large netbook.
- Plenty of processor power and memory for daily tasks.
- Sufficient graphics for hardware accelerated HD video playback (with HDMI output for use with HDTV).
- Keyboard is firm but not quite ThinkPad quality.
- Materials are mainly fingerprint resistant, other than bezel.
Cons: - 4-cell battery only gets around 4 hours under normal operation (1/2 brightness, wi-fi, web or word processing).
- Track-pad buttons have long throw and slightly mushy.
- Scroll-wheel emulation is insensitive until it engages, then is over-sensitive.
- Pinch-zoom is only multi-touch gesture supported.
- VeriFace requires perfect lighting.
Other Thoughts: Cons are fairly minor, other than battery life when compared to similarly priced Asus and Acer CULV notebooks. I have a 8-cell battery on the way, which should alleviate that concern.
