HP's DV6600 series of notebooks is all about keeping you connected and productive at home or on the road. The DV6660SE comes with a 1.9GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile processor. The 2GB of memory is expandable to 4GB if you need it. The 250GB HDD will store all of your data and music.

The 15.4" BrightView widescreen runs at 1280x800 and is powered by a GeForce Go 7150M GPU. Altec Lansing speakers keep the music coming. So, when it's time to relax, drop a DVD into the LightScribe drive and enjoy the movie. An IR remote control makes it easy to skip scenes. Plug in a set of headphones for quiet listening. You can also use the SuperMulti drive to make system back-ups to protect your data.

Wired connections are provided by the Fast Ethernet and modem jacks. You can connect wirelessly with an 802.11b/g wireless connection. You can also put a broadband modem in the ExpressCard slot to keep you going at full speed on the road.

Cons: Windows Vista Other Thoughts: This is my first laptop and I think I am in love. Everything works perfectly with this laptop. Even when you first startup the laptop it is still pretty fast considering the amount of bloat ware that is on the computer. It has a wonderful look and the only thing I can find wrong about this computer is just the operating system. But no one seems to like Vista anyway. Has very nice webcam that seems to work well as does everything else. Remote control is a nice addition. This is the next addition to the HP Pavilion line and I bought it based on the reviews on the HP Pavilion dv6458se on this site. Cons: No Restore CD, the restore system is ok (provided I ever need it) but it's on one HD which if the whole thing goes belly up it's not going to matter what partition the restore information is on, it will definately be interesting. Other Thoughts: Has a very nice look to it with the white back, a kind of gun metal keyboard, lots of quick buttons for ease of use.
