Pros: Small, compact, light, and good for school works. It literary has all functions of a "laptop"

Cons: The keypad is HOTTTT !!! EXTREME HOT!!!!
It supposely has 120 GB but it's around 89 GB and it supposely has 1 GB ram?! but its actually 866MB something. need a ram upgrade to 2GB. oh yeah... i always forgot, am i the only with a backpain when using this laptop cause its so small?!

Other Thoughts: basically, juss good for school work and thats it

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Size, weight, looks, metal case, screen and its capabilities. I increased my system memory to 2gb immediately ($50) and skinny'd down Vista, and it does fine as far as I am concerned. I love the other things about it so much I will be a little patient and forgiving. Vista has had no problems yet.

Cons: Runs no hotter than a regular (plastic) laptop, but since it is all aluminum, you feel it more. I think the metal case is part of the heat sink design. Processor a little slow. Lack of car charger (yet). Had to make my own car charger and that orked out fine.

Other Thoughts: I installed Open Sourch Word, PowerPoint and Excel and they work great. I am still working on Skype. (ie made some more skinny down and speed up tweaks and will see how that works). Go to HP2133Guide.com (forums) and PCSTATS.com to get these. Biggest GPS ever and all for under $100 (with Garmin Mobile PC).

Best screen & keyboard in class

Pros: --best screen in UMPC class (1280x800) is bright and readable
--best keyboard in UMPC class is really usable
--multi-tasks fine in Vista even with 1 gb for office/email/browsing tasks
--small and light (~3lbs) in case with power adapter
--much better price/features ratio IMHO than other UMPS currently avaialble

Cons: --battery life isn't great with the 3 cell
--boot is very slow...
--resume from hibernate/sleep is pretty slow
--plan on a few hours to setup Vista for the first time and update drivers
--no Vista backup cds included or option to make them, haven't figured out how to backup yet, but does seem to include a D: drive restore partition
--no osx86 possibilities with via chipset

Other Thoughts: --the processor is slow for media playback and other content, but fine for browsing, email and office tasks.
--I picked up a cheap DVD player case at le target boutique that fits it perfectly
--xp drivers and instructions are available online--I will try that later, as well as a linux distro and report back
