Pros: This computer has handled almost anything i've thrown at it thus far. Fallout 3 on medium settings runs perfectly on the HP recomended settings. Crysis decent on medium settings, a little lag, but by no means horrible. Age of Empires 3 runs perfectly on max settings. Sound quality is some of the best i've seen in a laptop. And even though the quad cores are everywhere, i think they're overhyped, only because the dual core has been every type of loyal to me so far. This laptop has a beautiful display and is very well built
Cons: Some of the HP stuff that comes on it is just plain annoying to deal with, especially the mediasmart software. At high volumes, the bass gets a little too distorted During demanding games, the top left part of the laptop gets a little bit warm..almost hot lol The screen is uber reflective, but not really a huge issue due to its high detail
Other Thoughts: Just a perfect laptop for under 1000, would be even better if HP sent me the Windows 7 upgrade, its been almost a month since i sent them my proof of purchase and they still havent sent it yet -.-

Pros: Inredible sound. The display is probably one of the best i've seen on the 5-6 laptops (2 of them other HP models) that i currently own.
As with most laptops, it has all the essentials, built in WIFI, biult in GIG ethernet, 4 USB ports, etc.
Cons: Comes with Vista. Go to HP's site and get your free windows 7 media.

Pros: Sound, Display, Security. The sound on this machine is the best I have ever herd on a laptop. The sub woofer really helps that. The display is very bright and clear. I love the finger print reader and the extra security it offers with other things besides just logging on. The scroll wheel remote is pretty cool. I like the fact that it came with the sleeve, makes a very good cloth for finger prints. Touchpad and scrolling are very reactive, and easy to use. No searching for the "right spot" to scroll. Nice long power adapter is always a plus.
Cons: Vista, but with 64-bit it runs so smooth. It runs a little hot internally but you can't feel it on the surface. The remote is mostly what I am worried about because it was very hot after working on the computer for a while. (it was stored in the express card slot)
Most don't like the bloat ware that come on most laptops but vista manages most on startup with my preferences so they are not really a problem for me.
Cannot connect to HP LaserJet 1000 printer. Had the same problem with vista before.
Other Thoughts: This machine is a beast! I would recommend to anyone who needs a well built computer for a low price.
