Pros: - Sleek, sexy design - Very light weight and ultra-portable - Decent build quality - Display is bright, sharp, decent colors - Lots of ports (3 USB, etc.)\and well located - Simple touchpad works well - Acceptable performance - 3+ hours on ultra-slim battery
Cons: - Mushy keyboard (very noticeable flex) - No scroll bar or two-finger scroll on touchpad (some may prefer it) - Processor is barely adequate (but it is acceptable) - MSI has egregious procedures for Win 7 upgrade and warranty registration (short deadlines for mailing in information, requiring original invoice for both - how? etc.)
Other Thoughts: Overall I am very pleased with this "super netbook" -- the display is a big step up from 1024x600 10" screen and very nice. Actually thinner and lighter than my Asus netbook and performs better. Perfect for email and web surfing.
I'm getting used to the keyboard, not a deal breaker for me, might be for some. Bright, sharp display, easy to read text, decent colors, decent contrast. Typical viewing angles OK for this class.
Very nice design, feels sturdy enough to me. I got mine for a very good price, so I'm well pleased with it.

Pros: super super skinny and light; very good for basic tasks - if you are traveller and only need to use internet, excel and some word. good battery life
Cons: does not have a dvd drive, the screen flickers under fan thats how light it is the screen overall seems brittle
Other Thoughts: i bought it for lightweightness and it delivers PERFECTLY in that area.

Rating: 4/5great machine for the price
Pros: - Lid and base are magnetic so when you close the laptop it snaps shut (kinda cool) - keyboard has very little flex, which was a pleasant surprise after reading other reviews - super lightweight - 4 cell battery still gets me around 3 hrs of life - no need to upgrade to the 8 cell - doesn't feel "cheap" other than 1 usb port where the bezel wiggles a little
Cons: - glossy screen (could be a positive for some) - usb port mentioned above (probably just my unit) - not sure if upgradable to win 7 (originally said it was and then they removed it from their website) - does slow down when multi-tasking (syncing itunes and browsing the web), but tolerable - slow picture slideshows in vista, so i view them individually instead now
Other Thoughts: overall, great machine for the price. you do feel the machine slow down when viewing pictures/videos..which is a little bit of a bummer. i am still contemplating about whether i should go back to windows xp. i paid over one hundred less for this thing (free shipping and no tax) on another popular internet website, but the deal only lasted for 1 week and then it went back to the normal price...so keep your eye on it over the holidays. I have a feeling it will drop back down to just over 4 benjamins sometime soon.

Rating: 3/5Careful
Pros: Nice Looking, Light, OK Speed
Cons: Graphics, No Windows 7 Upgrade option (check MSI's website), Graphics are to slow for Aero in Vista, Not entirely Windows 7 compatible due to driver issues. Also to get 7 to install you must install the harddisk controller drivers in the first step of setup.
Windows 7 Aero runs acceptable, but barely. If you let user account control dim the screen it will not restore completely after the dim.
Weird keyboard feel (keystroke)
HULU will play in window mode, but not full screen. It almost will when you decrease the quality to low.
Other Thoughts: Maybe XP will run acceptably on these machines.
They look really cool

Rating: 5/5What a netbook should be! MSIBook Air?
Pros: Good battery, great with optional 8 cell. Size, keyboard, TP and screen combo. Looks great. Played with this for 2 days (not mine) but played with it to get XP Pro on it and swap out the HD. Fantastic screen! This is what a netbook should be! EXTREMELY USABLE netbook! Z530 Atom CPU is very, very good. Much faster than N270/280. For an Atom CPU it runs Vista Premium, and very well. Plays Hulu in full screen no problem. Hulu HD played well too! Perfect out of the box experience.
Cons: 16:9 aspect ratio (this is more of a personal gripe). Vista performance compared to XP Pro on this machine (Win 7 candidate). Vista was good though - So that's a plus, sorta.
Other Thoughts: Wish I would have seen this before I purchased a U123 for myself. Well worth the extra $200 over the Wind Series top-o-line. XP Pro almost doubled the system feel when running 3+ applications.
Outstanding value for money when you consider battery life, size and weight a high factor in a mobile as much as I do. Get the 8 Cell battery.
3yr warranty as opposed to Wind's 1 year. Again, Value.

Rating: 5/5Perfectly Affordable Portability
Pros: Very light, nice screen and full keyboard. Good processor for the price.
Built in camera very nice plus!
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Please keep in mind that this is an ultraportable computer. By no means this is a speed monster comparable to desktop machines.
I can see a lot of applications for this computer 2 that come to my mind are: - real estate agents -- this profession has a lot of women that need something with larger screen and light computer that can fit easily to a medium handbag - college students -- can't quite afford Macbook Air? This is your laptop... load on it Open Office and you are ready to go.

Rating: 3/5litte bit to litte for a laptop
Pros: The design of this laptop is very good. It's good to see a cheaper laptop than msi x340 with the same design. For weight, design bekomes msi 5 points.
Cons: The processor they put in this laptop is pathetic. I know, the company wants to save some money, but putting this kind of processor is not on the place. I would see this laptop with VIA Nano U2250(1.3+GHz) processor. It would be comparable to msi x340 but for cheaper. With this processor and Graphics it doesn't make any sense to save 200 $ buying this one against msi x340. Once again, I wish there will be more laptops (netbooks) with VIA Nano U2250(1.3+GHz) processor. The performance brings only 2 points.
Other Thoughts: I didn't buy this laptop at newegg.com
