5 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: great laptop, nice features, pretty durable, love the fact that you can turn off the touch pad with a click of a button so i can use my gaming mouse without accidentally bumping the touch pad.

Cons: does get a bit warm when gaming

Other Thoughts: have had this thing for over 2 years now and never had any hardware issues other than wear and tear, I'm a bit rough with it sometimes and it holds up wonderfully. just recently had a crash in the software and had to go to msi tech support to get a recovery disk they were very helpful even though it is now out of warranty

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked perfectly for just over 1 year

Cons: Just over 1 year into use a clicking noise started coming from where the processor fan is loacated. Around the time the clicking noise started the computer began to overheat and shutoff after only one hour of use. I took the laptop apart, (only because it was already out of warranty) cleaned all the dust out completely. After I put it back together and turned it back on the clicking noise and overheating problem still occur.

Other Thoughts: Would not buy this laptop again.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty neat laptop

Pros: Great sound
Great price for the GPU and Specs
Really fast processor
Nice Feel and typing

Cons: Really short battery life (less than 3)
The shift key by the arrow keys (right side) is hard to get used to.

Other Thoughts: So, after a week, with warranties galore, great laptop with great functions and such, just, if you like to travel, this is not the laptop for you. Sure, this can play many games at medium with these specs, but is performance going to help someone write 50 college essays when they are away from an a/c port? I say no, but otherwise, this is a great laptop for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Recommended

Pros: This is one of the better laptops that I have owned. I was a little afraid to buy a decent laptop since I have been a firm believer in having a high quality desktop, but I am glad I opted for the laptop. For this money, I believe this laptop is well worth it. This computer works really well straight out of the box. Windows is setup nicely, and there isn't a whole lot of bloatware.

I also do a little bit of gaming. It performs well as long as the Optimus technology turns on properly.

Cons: I haven't had NVidia Optimus recognize a game yet. It usually doesn't switch to the dedicated graphics card properly. However, I do not believe this is enough to take it down any eggs since you can simply right-click the application icon and tell it to use the NVidia card.

5400 RPM drive is a little slow, but I knew that getting into it. I replaced it with a SSD though a few months after owning it. I

Other Thoughts: I recommend this laptop to anyone wanting to play moderately demanding video games on a budget. None of the cons are really a reason not to buy it in my opinion.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent laptop for two weeks

Pros: Very nice, bright screen
High specs for the low price
Nice keyboard
Fairly quiet
Not too hot

Cons: After two weeks, the hard drive crashed for no apparent reason. I'd powered it down, shut the lid, and left it resting undisturbed on my bed for a few hours, and when I came back to turn it on, the hard drive was no longer functional. No one or thing touched it during that period, it wasn't bumped or dropped, it wasn't touched by any magnets, it just croaked all on its own. Newegg's return policy won't allow me a refund, so instead I have to get a replacement. I'm actually thankful it broke when it did and not two weeks later, or else it'd be past the 30 day limit and I'd be out of luck.

5 out of 5 eggsrealy nice laptop

Pros: The computer is very silent. The length of the battery with a usage maximum is of about 2h45. At the level of the evaluation of performance, the average of the 5 indices give 6,16, for the grade of the performance of the office for Windows Aero is low. Of more, the installation does itself only to the start of Windows for the first time. Without forgotten, updated them pilots does himself only thanks to the assistance that MSI allows you to install. You avoid losing time to download the pilots on the site of the retailer.

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: I know that this brand very is not appreciated usually in contrast to other marks very well-known that have a very good reputations. Nevertheless, I took the risk to try it and of not to listen to prejudge them. Then I am really to impress. I do not regret my choice among the 4 others.

5 out of 5 eggsNice notebook at a decent price

Pros: Lots of features which more expensive notebooks have.
Although the Intel video lowers the Windows performance score the NVIDA card, when in use for more intensive apps/games, and memory have a healthy 6.9. The HDD is a 5200 rpm so scores lower but I can't really complain since it runs nicely.
Nice form - textured casing - decent trackpad.
I only heard the fans when starting or waking u.p, otherwise a failry quiet machine that doesn't seem to get very hot at all.
Drivers come on a CD, so less hassle to do a clean install
Not much crapware, but needed to do a clean install to ensure that the Norton stuff was history

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I did some research to find something that met my expectations for performance and cost and thought I'd take a chance on this in spite of no reviews here. I was pleasantly surprised when I fired in up and put a clean Ultimate 64 on to get me domain and RDP access, which I need. All in all, this is exactly what I wanted.
I'll report back once I spent a bit more time with this, and once I test a few of my favourite games, but so far it'll do just nicely.
