5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I order and setup laptops for gov. staff use. This laptop is the first I have purchased for my own use in some years.
Very well built.
Good parts
Lit keyboard a bonus, turbo and fan control nice.

Cons: Heavy so you may not want to lug this around in a bag.
But you buy based on what you plan to do with it so not a con for me.

Other Thoughts: Always carefull to do my homework on equipment as specs change every 4-6 months. If your looking now good choice. If your looking more than 6 months from release check specs.

2 out of 5 eggsI wouldn't

Pros: Restarting is extremely fast
The buttons light up
It's not very heavy

Cons: This machine is overpriced for what it has.
The CPU and Graphics card are practically garbage

Other Thoughts: I was a tad fast to rely on the reviews for this system and now I'm stuck with it. It can't even play decade old games like TF2 with out frames skipping. If you want this machine, look for individual reviews of the individual parts; not just the overall reviews on this site.

4 out of 5 eggsWould've crack up to 5 stars

Pros: I was blown away with the screen size. It is big laptop and heavy but no big deal since i just sit it on my table always. It is fast, well built, and high end video graphics that made my games run smoothly on ultra settings.

Cons: - Win 8. It eats up to half of the ssd already.

- My S-Bar started not functioning after month used. I checked MSI site and no driver available for windows 8. Seriously? You guys introduced to win 8 but no driver available for your own unit? Embarassing!

- When i do unboxing, there was no plastic protector surrounding the screen. I saw all the video about unboxing of this laptop and all of them have this plastic

Other Thoughts: Overall, i really liked what i got. Even though its pricy, but I got what i paid for. And seriously I would give it 5 stars, but the cons are just terrible that's why it lost one star. Customer satisfaction is number one!

5 out of 5 eggsReal quality

Pros: -Very comfortable keyboard for whatever you are doing typeing or gameing
-Matte screen makes it useable almost anywhere without squinting or an umbrella
-Fast enough to do whatever you can imagine
-Even at max speed fan is quiet enough to not notice
-High quality speakers that i can actually use instead of headphones
-Not alot of useless bloatware, unlike other brands

Cons: -only option is windows 8, and the OS takes up half the SSD (55 of 118)
-may have to upgrade SSD to bigger as i only have 3 games on it now(starcraft2, skyrim, BF3) and am down to 6gb on the main drive(128gb SSD)

Other Thoughts: Really any issue with this laptop will be with windows 8, it takes up to much space on SSD and the whole "metro" interface isnt good for anything other than browsing facebook or checking your mail, but once you have done 2 quick google searches for the tweaks to bring back start menu and load to desktop on start it becomes a beast of a laptop that makes most other laptops of similar cost pale in comparison, very satisfied with this purchase in design, build quality and performance.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: Got this thing about a month ago, and let me just say it was worth more than what I paid for it. I haven't found a game that it doesn't run on max settings. Nova Bench scores:
RAM: 244
CPU: 737
GPU: 79

If you're on the fence about this one, just buy it. I DO NOT regret buying this machine.

Cons: Windows 8, but that wasn't a big enough con for me to even knock an egg off.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: It is a economical drive, very cheap per gig. So far so good no problems, installed windows without any issues.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: You can't complain about a hard drive that costs $50 for 300g.

5 out of 5 eggsWow, big upgrade.

Pros: fast, seems well built, runs cool, tons of storage space, big beautiful screen, solid keyboard

Cons: slightly on the heavy side (but expected for desktop replacement)

Other Thoughts: This was an upgrade from and Asus GT60 with 4Gb of ram and GTX 260 1Gb video card. The old system still runs great and plays most games on high without much of a problem, but it was time for an upgrade. This new system is a beast, and I am amazed at how big of a difference there is playing some of the old games. Skyrim, Battlefield 3, and some of the older games look different.... better somehow. I haven't used the over clocking tool yet, and probably will not need to for a long time. With the Killer Network card, my pings have dropped and actually tend to get into online matches quicker then with the old rig. The metal below the keyboard is a very welcome addition and keeps pretty cool even with my wrist and palms resting on it. The build quality was the only thing I had any question about since the last laptop was a tank and I had dropped it multiple times (even in a parking lot), with nothing more than a few scratches on the case. So far it is holding up and even had a bit of a scare when my 2 year old (35 lbs worth) desided to walk across the keyboard as I was unboxing it and had it opened on the bed. I think this is going to be around and kicking for some time to come. EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!!!
