Pros: N/A.

Cons: I was excited for my upgrade given the power of the machine specs, and reviews. When I got it, I had issues with the laptop BSODing, the keyboard wouldn't always register my key presses, and there were also some minor issues with the fan and battery that I haven't had time to look into yet.

I had installed Linux on it, so that voided my warranty and Newegg wasn't able to replace my machine. I'm a software engineer and spend a lot of time on my machines. Using the machine since then is not an option for me - every time it crashes or the keyboard doesn't register a press, it just causes a massive headache and annoyance.

I expected a much better product. My experience with this laptop unfortunately comes down to: very frustrating, defective device with frequent random crashes causing massive inconvenience.

Pros: -Has 12 GB's of RAM, more than enough memory for what i do with it which is gaming
-Nice 1080p screen
-670m is a really good gpu
-Keyboard feels nice
-Good sound and speakers
-Runs cool
-Fast

Cons: -The plastic covering over the buttons at the top of the laptop were scratched in various spots
-Sometimes keys don't respond, especially the space bar
-During intensive sessions, the laptop's fans kick it into high gear and become kinda loud.

Other Thoughts: This laptop makes me a cool cat

Pros: 1) I do enjoy the LED customization of the keyboard. It's a nifty look idea.
2) It's quick, screen looks good, happy with overall customization and freedom with the quick buttons and S-Bar which can give you some quick options for wifi, bluetooth and few other things.
3) My old Toshiba craptop actually gets hotter than this thing does so I'm impressed with its ability to keep cool and this is under hours of gaming without turning the fans up and just keeping them on auto.
4) It doesn't come with McAfee of Norton which I find as a Pro cause I dislike McAfee and Norton :P
5) Good sound. I know there are better sound cards out there (there's always a bigger fish) but for me going from a craptop with integrated to this is a huge step up so when I hook up my DJ headphones and they start kicking I'm happy.

Cons: 1) When I received mine the ` button was already broken off. Fortunately, however, keys snap right back on but again it shouldn't have been broken off to begin with.
2) I DID read a lot of reviews of models similar to this one and saw many people had issues with the keyboard and BSODing. The keyboard is kind of annoying I find myself hitting keys when typing or chatting then looking up and seeing that it didn't even register them so yes you do kind of have to beat it up for all your keys to register. As for the BSODing yes mine blue screened several times the first day I used it until i fully updated EVERYTHING and also noticed many programs tried to run with the integrated intel HD graphics as their default graphics processor and that turned out to be the main issue of the blue screening. So I had to manually set my games to use the nvidia or else I will still blue screen.
3) It is kind of an ugly case comparable to like a alienware but that should only bother you if looks are important id take performance over looks any day.
4) Battery is meh but don't expect much off of a laptop designed to game. Normal battery time fully charged I've gotten has been 4 1/2- to 5 hours until i start a game and it goes down to 30-45 minutes.

Other Thoughts: There's a few other issues I've seen expressed in reviews of similar models to this one such as people having their graphics fry after using the VGA ouput or HDMI to hook it up to a monitor or TV but I have not had this issue. I also, however, don't use that feature very often. Also I noticed on pretty much every review posted on their products on newegg (from what I've seen at least) MSI as a company have been keeping up with any complaint reviews on their product which says more than many other companies.

Pros: -the pros to this laptop are of course the nvidia GTX670 3GB GDDR5
-12 GB of ram
-This laptop is perfect bang for your buck
-rainbow keyboard gets loads of complements
-"super fan"
-turbo mode (i guess overclocking the whole PC?)

Cons: My only cons is the what i call 'super fan' is a little noisey but what can you expect from a huge fan. It is optional to turn it on or off though

Other Thoughts: this laptop is good for all games and i bought this mainly for minecraft and the fps never drops below 150 on max settings. This laptop also runs Black ops 2 with no frame-rate issues at all.

Pros: This laptop rules. You will not find a better value for a high performance laptop than these MSI rigs. I am a video professional and I use mine as a mobile editing and visual effects workstation when I am travelling on TV shows. It never fails do deliver rock solid performance in even the most humid, difficult environments. I have had this system through almost every state and airport, hotel rooms, etc. If it ever quits I would not hesitate to get another the same day, but I don't forsee it failing any time soon. My experience tells me that other laptops I have owned are designed to fail right when the warranty expires- planned obsolescence- but not this machine. The people at MSI know whats up! Compared with other laptops I have had, there is no comparison. It runs every program I throw at it! And I push computers to their limits with the 3D/VFX/Raw video software I run. I am well over a year into owning this machine, and it is running like I bought it yesterday. And the price- unbelievable, comparable systems from other manufacturers go for 3g's!

Cons: The shiny screen can be annoying.

Other Thoughts: Every once in a while you come across a piece of engineering that makes you stand back and say wow. This is one of those.
