Pros: -Fast: Like, stupid fast. Bootup to browsing the web in under 10 seconds. Raid 3 runs like a maniac.
-Storage: 256 SSD gives you plenty of space for games, and a 1TB storage drive for movies, pictures, etc.
-LEDs: Fully customizable, in a variety of settings. You can make it do pretty much anything you can think of with the stock Steelseries program.
-Quiet: I haven't really run it with any super crazy rendering software, but so far, I haven't even heard the fans running, and my wife and I were spending literal hours playing Arkham Knight on it, without any kind of sound from the fans spinning up.
-Fast: I'm repeating this again because I can't stress it enough. This thing basically runs at light-speed.
-Shift Mode: A pretty awesome feature included with the MSI GT-72 series, allowing you to adjust the power management with a keybind. Lets you save battery life if you're just browsing the web, or if you're doing heavy gaming, sets it to it's full capability.

Cons: -Not a really a con, but this laptop is HUGE. Not much of a selection when it comes to laptop bags that can handle the size.
-Windows 8: Stock with pretty much every newer computer, which sucks. I don't think I've hated an operating system so much since Windows Vista. But you get used to it.
-Sound: Audio quality is a bit lackluster, but honestly, not that big of a deal. I use a headset anyways, so it's only really noticeable with youtube videos, but the sound just seems to be a little bit off. Hard to explain, but not worth subtracting an egg from the review.

Other Thoughts: I bought this laptop as a replacement for my desktop. After having kids, I found I wasn't able to game very much anymore, but still wanted the option to do so. This sucker was everything I hoped for and more. I consider myself a casual gamer, and so far, it's handled everything I've thrown at it, including Arkham Knight right after release, with absolutely no issues, and running at 60 FPS to boot. LED's are gorgeous, USB 3.0, a TON of customization with the steel series software, hardly any bloatware, and a gorgeous physical design. From what I've read, it's fairly easy to upgrade any of the internal specs, but for some reason, there is a warranty sticker attached. Not really interested in upgrading for the time being, so it's not a big deal, but it does seem fairly strange that the manufacturer would promote how easy it is to upgrade, while at the same time slapping a warranty void sticker on the case. Odd, but not that big of a deal to me. This laptop is well worth every penny.

Pros: reat price for the specs, run a few games like, WoW, SimCiy and Assasins Creed Black Flag and the grapghics are awesome.
I'm using too for mechanical designs with NX 9.0; Inventor; SolidWorks and CATIA V5.

Pros: Runs every game I own smoothly in 4k. Even the flawed Batman:AK it came with. It's an amazing laptop and it's well worth the money.

Cons: Not entirely stable. Crashes a lot when changing resolutions on second and third displays. The back lighting on the keyboard dosen't turn on until after you logged into windows. And this one gets me the most, there is a warranty sticker. The product video and descriptions talk about how easy it is to upgrade but you cant even open it. There's been times where this thing has froze and I have to wait till the battery dies. Holding the power button for 10 seconds wouldn't even kill it.

Other Thoughts: It's kinda like cars... the more high end it is the more it usually goes wrong.

Cons: Comes with windows 8.1, very rigid, doesn't really allow for easy OS Reload
Comes with some bloatware, not uncommon, or hard to uninstall.

Other Thoughts: Would've preferred Windows 7 over 8.1, but honestly Windows 10 hits the stores in a few days, so I'm not that worried. The bloatware was easy to remove, and it games like a beast, so far no problems.

Pros: Let me start by saying this is the first MSI Laptop I have owned. This MSI GT72 214 is a beast! Everything that I have thrown at the GPU, It runs like a champ. The laptop runs at high to ultra settings, getting between 45 to 60+ FPS. That includes WoW, FC4, AC 3, AC4, and many more. If you travel a lot this thing is a great Laptop to own. You can play ANYTHING you want just like you would on a desktop.

Cons: The fans is a little loud, but if you want quality graphics then that is something that can be lived with.

Other Thoughts: For the price of this laptop you should get a gaming backpack for the price. 2000.00+ I have a Swiss backpack that fits up to 17.3" laptop, and this beast barely fits in the backpack.

Pros: -FAST
-Turn off GPU for added battery life
-Boost Fans have an on/off (if you are surfing no need for them)
-Boost fans sounds like a jet turning on but they are not the dbs of a jet. Not quiet but for how cool they keep the laptop, worth the extra db. not to mention while gaming typically the game drowns the fans out.
-FarCry 4 high settings 80fps
-Very well designed
