Pros: Biggest selling point to this computer is the I-7 processor; however, that's where it stops!

Cons: Overall, the computer is built very cheaply and without any quality craftsmanship. The hard drive and battery are installed internally and neither can be changed out. Originally, this computer was to be used in a compact back yard theater system; however, consistent crashes prevented it from being utilized.

This laptop is absolutely the worse computer purchase I have ever made and I'll not make the same mistake twice.

Other Thoughts: Under no circumstances would I recommend the MSI laptop to anyone.

Pros: Fast, pretty, surprisingly light, runs games quickly, Nice screen, good resolution, ~decent sound, no heat issues for me, sleek.

Cons: MOST SERIOUS ISSUE (for me): It was listed as having a VGA port, that is completely untrue, I rely on VGA for my job and I'm up excreement creek now, as HDMI is too advanced for my classroom.

It has crashed a few times (shut down unexpectedly).
I'm having an issue getting the sound to work properly with certain programs.
The sound is good if nothing is there to interfere, but if there is it loses it's power.
Trackpad is not the best. I'm used to working off of that for most things, but now I use my USB mouse.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this laptop.
But of course I'd share the cons I listed.

Seriously though an advertised feature being absent from the product is very annoying to deal with and dropped the review from 4 to a 3.

Newegg or MSI (not sure) provides a "free" laptop backpack with purchase. It is listed as $99, that is a insane price for the bag I received. The bag is fine for carrying here and there, and has some style to it. But there is very little actual protection offered by the bag. Just FYI, not looking the gift horse in the mouth.

Pros: Great processing power.
Good graphics card.
OK Cooler Boost feature.
Windows 8 :D

Cons: Crashes waaay too much! A lot when I'm doing important work. I lost a good amount of code with crashes. (I code for fun)
Sound card sounds spotty in-games. Ruins the experience.
Out of the box, some older games sounded high-pitched.It's fixable by 3rd-party driver update.
Graphics card is very finicky at times, it does not like some games..
Graphics card can hate you sometimes: low fps, causing horrible spotty sound.
Mouse and Keyboard randomly stop working, which happens in game at times. (worst part!)

Other Thoughts: I'm glad they lowered the price, but really this is not a computer worth buying.

Pros: Outstanding laptop, amazing performance and has a good powerful fan on it.

Cons: Has a very cheap cover between the screen and the chassis that snapped off trying to open it to upgrade. Using duct tape on a 1 day old laptop is not good (fortunately it's not visible)

Other Thoughts: Beware of the rebates, you have a VERY short time, shorter than any other rebate out there to get the rebate in the mail. Quite disappointed I missed it. Not good for business MSI... Some of us have lives.

Pros: Sleek design, great feel, nice screen

Cons: No backlit keyboard, issues with hardware, blue screens

Other Thoughts: As I was happy to receive the replacement in high hopes and going in with a fresh attitude, things went well for roughly two weeks on the replacement before the Machine Check Exceptions started up on the second of these that I have owned.
While understandable that this could have been due to any number of things, they persisted through 2 different OS's (10 and 8.1), through all attempts to troubleshoot, refresh, restore, updating or not, and even with extra external cooling.
Sadly, I now have to wait for a refund and go with another laptop.
I would not have given the product as low of a rating if not for the hammering home of actually contacting the email given for the review team before processing the refund and giving them 2-3 days to respond without recieving even as much as an automated thank you reply.
Needless to say, I gave all my time and positivity into trying to make this work and, at least for me, this laptop cannot handle the small stresses of the gaming I use it for, even with assistance in cooling.

Pros: Runs well; when it runs, the included software is fairly cool, the free headset was a nice addition, nice price tag, good specs.

Cons: Overheats, blue screens frequently while gaming, keyboard is NOT backlit.

Other Thoughts: While a great collaboration between MSI and steelseries, the computer I got has some majot issues stemming from blue screening due to Machine Check Errors.
This is normally due to overheating, and while still troubleshooting, I am having to now return this product to receive a new one in hopes of having better luck with a different one as, yes, occasionally things happen and we get bad products.
I had high hopes for this, and the specs are great, and if it runs well on my new one I will definitely re-write this review.

Pros: I bought this computer close to two weeks ago and have had it for about a week. I couldn't find a single review of the GP62 Leopard Pro-002 anywhere online, so i thought I would take the wheel and help anyone else considering this laptop. I have been very pleased with it thus far. It boots up quite faster than my older Samsung, and it will run any game I throw at it at Maximum settings at a high frame rate. I've played Battlefield 3, Hitman Absolution, and Sleeping Dogs along with other titles on it , and they all load quickly and the GTX 950M graphics card does a fine job. Aesthetically, the computer has a sleek and modern design and finish that just looks nice.

Cons: The battery life is, understandably, pretty poor, as it is a gaming laptop after all. If I'm just surfing the internet and using social media, the battery will get around 2.5-3 hours of life. If I am playing a demanding game however, it will last slightly more than an hour before I have to plug it in. This is to be expected with most gaming laptops.

The computer can get quite hot at the back when you are playing a graphically demanding game. Also to be expected with a gaming laptop. The computer comes with a fan cooling button that cools it down fairly quickly. Sometimes it feels like you could make a steak with the underside of it though. This has not affected performance in any way for me.

Other Thoughts: It is a computer well worth the money to me, and I would heavily advise any looking for a quality gaming laptop to consider this model.
