Pros: Top of the line components, upgradable, good keyboard feel, and nice screen. Seemed peppy for the little bit of time I spent on it, never installed any software.

Cons: Poor quality control. The red LED's on the right keyboard section were stuck on and the CD door required me to tap the case to get it to pop open.

Size, this thing very thick.

The keyboard is small, like they stuffed a 15" keyboard on a 17" laptop. Lettering on keyboard is too large and irregular key sizes.

Customer service is a maze to get too and not necessaryily helpful when you get there. The website is full of dead ends. No driver support for the 6th gen products even though their selling them.

Other Thoughts: This is not a business class workstation. It has the unnecessary, and useless features that you would find in a gamers laptop. I don't need three colors of led's on the keyboard to model in SolidWorks. This extra fluff just adds to the number of failure points. The gawdy fluff, poor build quality, poor website and confusing customer service led me to return this and look into more reputable brands. I need solid performance, no fluff, spot on service/support and reliabilty.

Pros: Love the fit and finish of materials. Nice screen, snappy system boot times and 16GB of DDR4 2133 memory (2x8) with room for up to 64GB (4 slots). Runs Civil 3D 2016 without a hitch. Love the Quadro card but wish MSI was using the most current FirePro cards (they are better than Quadro). Can install 3 more M.2 SSDs in this bad boy!

Cons: 128GB SSD is really SMALL. Windows 10 OS takes up nearly 1/2 of the drive by itself! Not happy that MSI doesn't include recovery software or the OS disc with the purchase. They install some software to create recovery disc(s) on your own. For professional workstation at $2,500, MSI and other manufacturers can do better ... me thinks.

Other Thoughts: Bought this notebook because of current needs for business. If I need a notebook in the future, it will only be with a FirPro card installed...go Team Red!

Pros: Great for rendering gaming software and excellent gaming as well fast and efficient, nice amount of hardrive space 1tb, battery life 5hours without battery saving, the hardware is all around great, for the price I'd say worth it.

Cons: Windows 10 it's ok but it's nothing like Windows 8.1 I still have to get used to it, Cortana is helpful tho.I bought a 2 tb external hardrive to go with it but it's still got a good amount of space for a laptop.
