5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Layout, material, specs, size, weight. Better specs, cheaper, and near identical layout to macbook pro. If Charlie Sheen picked between the two it would be the Envy14. Because he is always winning.

Cons: Wireless toggle is right next to the mute button. The battery life meter does not accurate prediction, (55% BL, 32 mins) were as ill be sitting there for 2 hours until it gets near the end.

Other Thoughts: Read some bad reviews on the touchpad; however, if you read the instructions it is very simple to use. Closely resembles my droid's touch screen.

1 out of 5 eggsStay FARRRR away from this company

Pros: unibody construction, and sleek design.

Cons: i purchased this laptop through HP online store with their advertised online coupon code of 300 bucks off. the coupon was applied to the final price of the laptop all the way through the final checkout where you enter the credit card info. but once i hit submit order, the receipt i got back form HP was WITHOUT the coupon discount. they clearly messed up on the order, and the code was good, even verified by their own customer rep. after putting me on hold for 40 mins, they had the means of attempt to negotiate the discount from $300 to $200 and refuse to give me the full discount that i was suppose to get. then tried to turn the coupon into rebate instead. i ended up cancelling the order, it was just going out of proportion. wrote a concerning letter to the headquarter the response i got back was "we're really sorry, and we're sorry that we lost you as a customer". good job HP on treating your life time long loyal customer like a piece of garbage after some 15~20 years of loyalty.

Other Thoughts: i used to be a long loyal HP customer for some 15~20 years. every laptop, desktop i bought since old days of college years were all HP, all my printers are HP. HP clearly no longer care or respect their customers. good luck getting any of your HP product serviced in the future. their one liner response of sorry and move on just says it all about how much they care about their customers. Do yourself a favor, before buying another HP laptop, google for "HP laptop screen flicker". it's a long outstanding defect that affect nearly all their laptop products for many years.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome little lappy

Pros: thin, relatively light, no keyboard flex at all, backlit keys, battery life, chassis is made of quality materials and feels sturdier than a mac (i used to own one)

Cons: i wish they still had the better screen available, but honestly, the res is fine with me. i just like having the best available, which this is... now.

Other Thoughts: not even going to bother doing any serious gaming on this, that's for my desktop.
